I mean, it was written in the instruction manual that any form of erasure would be subject to disqualification so I freaked out and kept asking the proctor(I bet she inwardly cursed me everytime I called her about it hahaha). LOL But glad I still passed! XD Next on my victim list is the NCLEX(National Council Licensure EXamination)!!

BB creams work as moisturizer, liquid foundation, concealer, skin nutrient, it reduces pores(some brands) and it even helps prevent pimples~ XD All in one cream~ And it helps me lessen my prepping time. I used to put so many things on my face before *I'm a cosmetics fan XD*, but now I only wear BB cream and a thin layer of loose powder. yep~ no wonder koreans love it XD It's like natural skin! And I'm looooving it too! XP

Sorry for taking so long to reply to this post - I was busy in another fandom of mine (Bleach, if you know the anime) It is a Chinese fandom, and 99% of the fellow members there are mainland Chinese and Taiwanese, which means they're not that proficient in English. And it so happens that they needed someone to translate a couple of fics requested by an English fansite from Chinese to English, and...WHAM! The job fell onto yours truly. So...that's why. HAHA. And math papers. I still have to mark two sets of trigonometry graph practice papers.

OMG that Thai massage must have been awesome right??? I always feel like dying halfway during the massage (there was once when I actually whimpered LOL) but I've never felt so liberated when the pain was gone. It's amazing.

Ahhh so I was right after all - I kinda figured out that eating the heart of the bison was a mark of respect for the amazing creature. The meat definitely sounds wayyy healthier than regular cow, given that it's lean. It doesn't sound too bad - I might even try it one day if I go get the chance to! Have you had snake before? I tried snake soup in Thailand, and it tasted just like fish. What lies beneath those scales...*cackles* OMG I think I am going crazy. Sugar high from muffin.

Awww my dear, you made me blush with the major respect! It's really nothing great, but I figured out it's still a tiny bit of effort. Shark's fin has no particular taste or smell (it is cartilage after all) and it is only the broth in which it is cooked in that has the super yummy flavor. And it is chicken broth flavored with delicacies like dried scallops and blah blah blah expensive Chinese stuff. LOL. Just to let you know, it is actually something served at special occasions such as wedding dinners and banquets as a luxury item in our culture. But because of the intense efforts of the animal rights' groups and lobbies, the message is reaching the younger generation, and there are many young couples who refuse to have sharks' fin soup served at their weddings. I went to a relative's wedding dinner recently, and it was really cool how she had arranged for a eco-message card to be placed on every table, explaining the reasons behind her choice of not serving sharks' fin soup. I was REALLY impressed, because I heard from my mom that she had argued with her mother and in-laws over it.

But yeah, those Asian dramas are definitely more emotionally-heavy, and they deal with themes which might be a little controversial. There's another one which you should check out...I honestly wanted to do a SessKag fic based off the idea, but it will take me another 50 chapters, so...maybe not.

I totally took this short summary which I posted earlier off Naiadine’s wall, but… this is what it is about.

It's about the entwined fates of this man and this woman through three lifetimes. In the first cycle set in mid 1800s, the girl was the fourth mistress to a very wealthy (and old and ugly) businessman and he was her rickshaw puller. But in the end, she got this terrible illness and was sent away to live by herself till her death. The rickshaw puller, who had always secretly admired her, was the one who brought her to the little cottage where she subsequently died in.

Then, the heartbroken guy grew old and the girl was reincarnated into the sultry songstress/dancer who worked at a nightclub. The guy could not forget his beloved "Fourth Mistress", and when he saw the young girl, he was totally shocked. That's when he started visiting everyday, and subsequently, she fell in love with him because of his sincerity. But they didn't get their happily ever after, because they got shot dead when they tried to elope.

Then both got reincarnated, and met in modern times!! He is some history major or archaeologist studying the burial artifacts (which explains the mirror) and she is a photographer if I am not wrong. It's pretty cool when they get haunted by that red cheongsam spirit!! LOL. I adored this show.

Noticed how the ghost wore red? Chinese ghosts ALWAYS wear red. HAHA.

Ooooh I have something exciting to tell. I got asked out by a Caucasian man when I went for lunch with my friend. As in, white guy. It's her colleague from work, and he kinda joined us for dinner because he was going to eat alone and my friend was like, "Why don't you join us? I am sure my friend Jasmine won't mind." SO. That's what happened. BUT. BUT. BUT. Don't laugh at me, but I am intimidated by Caucasian men. I have no idea why. Some of them are so handsome with those sharp features of theirs, and I love checking those on magazine covers and TV out, but you give me one in real life and I tend to freak out, blush and lower my head and clam up. Siki~~~ Me is Loser with a capital L. I haven't agreed to going out with him though.

OMG OMG OMG you have successfully made me feel like a baked potato. I barely do anything fun to keep myself in shape...the greatest fun I have is moving to the fridge to grab snacks!! LOL. I try to eat healthy snacks like granola bars, dried cranberries, yogurt and dried fruit chunks and I love all drinks with lactobacillus casei in it. But still, I am all soft and poke-able, unlike you!! You sound like you have this awesome I-will-totally-kill-to-get body. All I do is go for jogs twice a week and take a daily stroll after dinner. Singapore is reputed to be the shopping paradise in this region, so we have ALL KINDS OF SHOPPING!! We have HUGE HUGE HUGE malls in town (the expensive area) yet we have inexpensive areas like shopping streets where you can haggle for a good price. You can check this site out! I swear, they are evil...the largest Gucci flagship store in Asia is located in Singapore, and I always walk past that place with the burning urge to run in and go on a wild spree.*growls*

I was just talking with Naiadine here on Dokuga (she is from the same little island as I am!!) and we were talking about the older Singapore drama productions from the 1990s, which were something we practically grew up watching. We totally found old youtube clips of the theme songs of those dramas, and here's one which we both adored!

It has to be one of my favorite shows EVER, and the song is awesome too. It is set in the same time period as 'Shanghai', and I actually characterized Kagome after one of the girls in there. It's a story about early migrants from China coming over to Singapore in search of a better life, only to find out that things are not as rosy as they've imagined it to be. Almost all the characters suffered in different ways; there was a rice businessman who lost everything, a woman who shaved her head in protest to a forced marriage, a man who betrayed his countrymen to work with the Japanese and so on...and in the end, the Japanese Occupation began, and that was when all hell broke loose. You can see the soldiers in there, and the air raid bombings. Thought I'd share the clip with you, so you can get an idea of what we watch over here!

You have to try the sesame cream if you get the chance!! The taste is easier to accept as compared to the almond cream, and yes, they are both thick in consistency. I fully agree with you - how good we look is largely determined by what we eat. Do you go on diets? If you do, what healthy recipes do you have?

Fish balls are really nice! And there are a few varieties of fish which are good for being made in fish balls, and the yellowtail fish is one of them. I have never had pickled chicken's feet...they sure sound scary though! I can never eat them pickled...but then again, I barely eat anything pickled. LOL. But phoenix claws are marinated in an AWESOME sauce, so...it doesn't feel so chicken feet-ish. LOL. Yes, my dear, STARFISH. Like Patrick from Spongebob. (I love him, so I can never eat a starfish) Apparently they fry them. But still, it's so sick. And some people in mainland China still eat dog meat, which freaks me out TOTALLY.
