Rules:

There will be 31 days to the Halloween Challenge.
Each day there will only be 10 entries allowed.
In other words there will be 310 entry spots in the Challenge.
There will be a designated place to sign up for the challenge.
I will make the sign up sheet for a week at a time.
There will be four different themes for the month.
Each theme will run anywhere from six to eight days.
You must follow the themes according to the dates.
You must sign up if you wish to participate.
You are only allowed one entry a day.
And four in the entire contest.
Those who enter who enter two stories in one day, their stories from that day will be removed.
Do not post your stories in the forum.
Please link us to it.


Conditions:


The story has to be a one shot or a drabble.
There are no exceptions.
There is no word limit.
But please do not write a story that takes three meals to read through.
At the end of each day, there will be a poll to vote for the story you liked best, the pole will stay open till the next afternoon.
The winner of each day will move onto the finale.
At the end of the month, the 31 most popular stories will be voted on in a poll.
The finale pole will be open for a week.
The winner will be announced on the eighth day.
The most popular one shot or drabble will win a prize.
Also the second and third will win a prize also.


Misscelaneous Information.

If you wish to enter, go into edit mode and enter your name in any open spot. Or post your name, what day you want and what spot you want.
You may write about any day in the month of October.
The day your sign up for does not have to be the same day your story takes place on.

Prizes

Prizes will be given out to the first, second and third most overall popular stories.

First and Second place prizes will be announced at a later date.


Third place will receive an InuYasha T-shirt.

I think you're only allowed to enter 4 stories total in the entire competition?

If I could be certain of free time and muses, I'd sign up. I think I'll have to hold off, though.

I've never written a fic before but sign me up for one day a week as well. Gotta start somewhere. I just hope I can find the time, with putting togething three {less expensive} costumes for the Anime USA convention.

Hey you guys, I just want to apologize now, but I will not be able to continue with this challenge. Something happened in my personal life which caused me not to be able to continue to run the challenge. There isn't much I can do with what has landed on my lap right now. But I do apologize for the millionth time if you have started on this or already have wrote your piece for this. If you have any complaints or questions I can answer them just send a message my way. I love this community and the people who participate in it never fail to amaze me with their care and love. I am once again truly sorry for the inconvenience.

Yeah Yuz-chan we completely understand. Considering all else, this challenge shouldn't be important right now. We love you hun and send you nothing but happy thoughts.

I hope everything works itself out for you. And even though the challenge is canceled it forced me to start writing so thank you so much. I'll definitely post my one shot anyway please let me know what you think.

It is ok Yuzuki, real life happens. Take time for yourself. I will post my story around Halloween to give it more of that creepy edge. If anyone else post their story could you put a link to this thread....I would love to read all of your stories!

Well, I still went ahead and did my part, even though the competition is still no longer running. The story has Sesshomaru and Kagome, and makes mention of Rin and Inuyasha...

Anyways, very very DARK with a bit of (okay a lot) voraphilia in there, so be forewarned.
