She had seen his one moment of weakness, and he hated her for it. He tried to kill her, and she defended herself, hating him even more. But when he saw her so near death that night, he knew that he could not let her go.

It hasn't been updated in quite some time... on FF.net, at least. Does anyone know if this story has been completed on some other site?

The author is a friend of mine. She said she got discouraged with it. Thought people didn't want to read it any more.

This is so sad, because it is a wonderful story. One of my favorites, actually. In my head, I kinda group fanfics into two categories. One, is the cotton candy fic that really isn't all that good and I'm not particularly invested in, but I read it because it's there at the moment and it's oh-so-bad for me. Then there are truly exceptional fics like My Hatred, My Obsession. They are fics that I would wait an eternity to update because they transcend their fanfic roots.

So Raven, if you read this -- your fic is awesome. For serious.
