Not Receiving Email 11 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 11
After updating my story today, I haven't gotten any emails for reviews - I also have my story listed as a favorite so that I can check my chapters, and I haven't gotten that email either.

As far as I know, Dokuga isn't blocked by my email client (Gmail), and I was getting emails yesterday, so I'm not sure if it's Dokuga or if it's my email.

Any suggestions?

I don't think it's just you. I too have not received alerts for updates for stories that I see have been updated today.

try going through the fics and authors your watching, UNFAV them and then REFAV them. sometimes when the system "burps" it's a necessary evil.

I personally still never get an update for "chapter 1" of anything from authors i watch, never figured it out, i just keep an eye out for things on front page. ^_^ hope this helps!

I got the e-mail update of your story, Aubrey, though for some reason on my Gmail it appeared in the spam folder. Have you tried checking that out just in case?

I just checked my spam folder in my gmail account and darn it all if that isn't where my Dokuga noifications are..... sheesh...I guess gmail tweaked something.

I noticed a few e-mails from Dokuga that showed up in the spam folder as well. I *wish* Gmail would put a header in the e-mail on why it was marked as spam. It isn't to be though.

This is the only thing I can come up with:

support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&ctx=mail&answer=1366858&expand=5

Guessing at some point, the notification e-mail started matching some real spam, or some people just started marking the notification e-mail as spam to stop seeing 'em. If that's done enough, then it'll carry over to other users. Until you tell it it's not spam for you anyway. :/
