uploading art glitch? 8 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 64
For two days now I've been having trouble uploading artwork to the site, has anyone else been experiencing any glitches when trying to upload? I've tried both google chrome and internet explorer and i still can't get it to work.

Finally got it to work, but i had to post it to photobucket then go in and save again and then reupload. is there maybe only specific file types that can be uploaded to dokuga?

Not sure on file type, since I've only ever used either jpegs, jpgs or PNGs on Dokuga. Can't remember if I had a problem with PNG files, the upload may have come out black with or without an image.

Can't recall.

Jpegs and jpgs work though.

Not sure on GIFS.

What was the size of the original image you tried uploading? (See edit)

Any image extension (except tiff) should work. So .(jpg, jpeg, gif, png) etc. The only limitation I remember off the top of my head was size.

Edit:
Okay, there are a few more exotic conditions IIRC. If the file name would happen to end up matching a pre-existing one where it's being stored is one of them; Or if the server was running low on disk space. But, in general, file size is the biggest cause for this type of issue.

It looks like the max upload size is set to around: 1.9MB
