I've been searching high and low for a fanfic. It's completed, it's loosely based on the persephone hades myth. I remember that sesshomaru forces himself on Kagome then kidnaps her and as her time with him progresses she gets sick and he finds out that his yokai is killing her so he takes her back to inuyahsa with the promise that he'll come get her when she's recovered. That's all I remember, thanks!!
