I just read a wonderful short story on ff.net. The title is "A Sign of Courtship" and the author is Year of the Snake. It is sweet and well-written. Even though I am a big fan of loooong stories, I think writing really excellent, meaningful short stories is a big challenge. The author did a great job, and I think it would be worth a visit to ff.net to check it out...
