I read this fanfic awhile ago. I saved it to my old computer (which crashed). It deal with Kagome travel with Sesshoumaru. At some point they are attacked. Sesshoumaru is fighting one on one with a youkai. The rest are attacking Kagome. Kagome unleashes her power and destroys some of the youkai. Sesshoumaru steps behind Kagome and marks her as his mate while the remaining youkai watch.

I don't think you are talking about Yellow Brick Road. If the one that you are thinking of starts out with Kagome kidnapped and then Inuyasha's dies then I know the one you are talking about, I have to look up the link so I will post it as soon as I fin it.

Though I encourage you to read YBR if you are into dark fics. I know I will stop pimping myself now.
