So I just thought of this story and I cant for the life of me remember what it is called and I really only remember one scene in it...

Kagome is living with Sesshoumaru for some reason and in the scene I'm thinking of he's in a hot spring because his tail is splitting into two and Kagome is sent to the hot springs by one of Sess' counselors but she doesn't know he's in there and Kagome helps "distract" him while his tail is splitting...

I've been looking for a couple days for this story, hopefully this rings a bell to someone!!
