Read this a long time ago and thought of it again recently.
Sesshoumaru had this curse on him from a miko that turned him into a dog. He's been living in that form protecting humans for some time. One of them was even Rin I bileve. I think Kagome hits him with her car and then ends up adopting him. I think some times he is able to transform back to his demon form.
If someone can find this fic or suggest another one where sesshoumaru is a dog that would be great!
