I don't remember a whole lot, but I'll detail as much as I can.

Sesshoumaru asks Kagome to take Rin into the future to keep her safe. I think it has something to do with court intrigue or some such, but she agrees and brings her back with her. Rin basically becomes Kagome's adopted daughter.

After some years, Sesshoumaru shows up, and starts hanging around in disguise, because he wants to see how Kagome and Rin are doing(I think there was debate on whether to just take Rin away from her, but he sees how attached they are). He and Kagome become friends, and he waffles back and forth about revealing himself to Kagome, and of course, they fall for one another.

Obviously he's revealed himself, he asks her to marry him, she says yes, but then something pops up about Kagome doing some kind of porn thing and he backs away as a result. They do some investigating, and find out its some youkai who used her likeness for it. The last thing I remember is she gives him back the ring because he didn't trust her to be honest with him.

Pretty sure this fic is MA and not meant for the kiddies.
