In the fanfic, Kagome is married to Sesshomaru, but she leaves him and moves to Australia because of his blatant cheating. Their marriage was never consummated due to the fact that Sesshomaru was forced to marry her when she was underage. Kagome ends up going back to Japan to finalize her divorce from him but learns that he doesn’t want one. Another detail I remember about this fanfic is that Sesshomaru’s first wife was deceased and his mother was constantly tormenting Kagome about being inferior to her. Rin was Sesshomaru’s biological daughter in this fic and the only one in his household who treated Kagome with respect.

Sounds like "Trading Yesterday" by Kanna37, but I can't find a (reputable)link.

Kanna37 took that story down. Pity because it was interesting.
