So I have been looking for this fic for the past two days but can't seem to find it. It takes place after Naraku. Kagome is living in the village, but her power is growing at an exponential rate. Eventually she feels this call to go away from the village and up a mountain. There she begins to change in a cocoon like crystal. Sesshomaru feels the power a goes to look for it and keeps watch over the cocooned Kagome. She emerges sometime later as a full Yokai.

What if being the Shikon Miko forced Kagome to evolve, to become something more... What would she become? Inspiration... Evolution by Eternity of Sins. It is a wonderful fic and I highly recommend reading it and Opposites Attracted. Warnings... This is an AU - I do not know how the real manga and anime ends.
