All I really remember is that she's placed in sess's protection and he makes a shrine of sorts and he and his son visit her to bask in her peace.
It's not the fuyu series from kanna37 cause he doesn't have a kid in that one
It's driving me nuts not knowing if it exists or if I cobbled it together from everything I've read

Sadly, I am given to understand that the author, TexanLady, passed away unexpectedly some years ago. While her stories remain up, they will unfortunately never be completed. I particularly enjoyed Choices and Consequences and a few others. She was an amazing writer and is dearly missed.
