I don’t remember much but what I do is that sesshoumaru and kagome are friends with benefits. Although kagome is seemingly in love wIt’s sesshoumaru he is in a long term relationship (engaged to at one point I believe) Rin.

Kagome mentions some things to Rin and they end up breaking up and sesshoumaru finally seems to recognize kagome as a viable option for a long term partner. He eventually proposes to her and she turns him down.

I can’t remember if I read this here or on another site as it was quite some time ago.

Any help would be appreciated!
