I know I have read it more than once here.

Durring a battle (just happends to be the last) Inu-group comes across Sesshomaru fighting Naraku. First thing Kagome does is asks of Sess, is Rin and Ah-un ok. Then starts fighting, once out of arrows, she starts picking up rocks/stones and charges them and throughs them at Naraku. Then Sess uses his fathers sword to cut Naraku and the being Naraku collected are a mess and attack the Spider.

The father of the moon is sadly deleted by the author. That much I can tell you.
