I'm not sure if this was a long one-shot or a short chapter story. Kagome is dating Sesshoumaru (modern times) and while at his father's house, she overhears him speaking with his mother about her. Mom is anti-human and Sesshoumaru is telling her that he's dating Kagome only to use her. Kagome overhears, and runs/disappears. When Sesshoumaru can't find her, he kills his mother. Pretty sure I read this story here. Thank you!
