I read this story years ago and I want to re-read but I can't remember much. I just remember that it had SessKag living in the past forced to deal with all the technicalities of being royal. But it was killing Kagome on the inside and she was really unhappy. So her and sesshomaru leave to the future where they end up running a small inn. However, they had left a son back in the past so that they could leave to the future and he was raised by sesshomaru' s mom. The kid ended up growing resentment towards his parents for abandoning him. I know it's not much to go on but if anyone knows the story I'm describing please let me know. Thanks

Ah never mind. I thought it was Happily Ever After (MA rating) but nope.
