Read a story a while back where Kikyo had a spell on Inuyasha that stole Kagome's power giving it to Kikyo. Kagome started traveling either by herself or with Sesshomaru and away from Inuyasha for some reason. Kikyo showed up and basically stated that Kagome should travel with Inuyasha. That is all I really remember. I do think it was a Sesshomaru/Kagome pairing though.
