The story takes place in the feudal era. I don't remember much except kagome brings animals from her time; and shows sesshomaru as well as the other demons how to build things. She also teaches them how to take care of the animals. I remember that part was towards the end. I want to say in this story she was helping them survive so they wouldn't disappear. Can't say for certain though. Wish i could remember more detail.
