I'm searching for a fanfic that I believe I read on fanfiction.com; I don't remember very clearly what the beginning was like, but I remember the last few chapters vividly. Sesshomaru is courting Kagome and traveling with Inuyasha's group they found more InuYouki when they believed they were the last. This InuYouki tribe is under attack from bird youki and its constant war, it turns out it was a banish island for inuyoki or something, and Sesshomaru's mom's old lover lived there from before she got mated to Sesshomaru's father. Later after they help fight the bird youki Kagome says yes to mating with Sesshomaru and he takes her to Bokuseno and he "opens up" to reveal a hidden passage that leads to an actual beating heart of the West.
