I know that I read this story a while back but I can't find it through searches. Sesshomaru finds a child Kagome in the modern era. It begins with her lost and him bringing her home. And then it goes on from there. I know it was made a few years ago: one or two years if I remember right.

I really did enjoy it, even though, I remember it wasn't complete. I just want to visit it again.

The one that popped to my mind was UnknownRandomness's Living Life. Could that be it? It also has the evil, laugh-inducing sequel that she wrote last Christmas.
