This may not be any one fic but I may be remembering parts of several. Kagone is popular and dating a jock (maybe Koga or Inuyasha). She actually has been sick and missed a lot. She needs a tutor to help her keep from failing. Enter . . . Sesshoumara, a geek or nerd and definitely not popular. Romance ensues.

I don't think this is what you're looking for but have you read Cybernetic Mishap by Aki? The plot is the same, except for Kagome getting sick. The fic is rated M so no YIMS.
