i googled it looking for a kougaXkagome fansite because i have this awesome idea that popped in my head for a fiction involving the pair. so i was wondering besides FFnet if there were any anyone else knew of?

Well, If you are not a YIM then I suggest AdultFanFiction.net which has a Inuyasha section, under Het - Male/Female is a Kouga/Kagome specific section!

That is just one site, mind you.
