I think it's mainly an online game, but they might have it in board game form too.
Basically you have a checkered board and stacks of two sided round chips, one side colored white, the other black. You place them down on the board, and when you trap a set of white chips between two black chips, all the white chips go black, and vice versa. I think whomever ends up with the most chips of their color choice when the board is filled wins the game.

I know of an old board game called Othello that sounds similar to that.
