Kagome got herself up and wiped her hand on her sleeve. She looked in her closet where there was another kimono, this one was a deep scarlet red that had dark blue lilies all over it and a dark blue obi. She felt better after she changed and she sighed, attempting to calm herself. She saw a book that laid on the floor now, formerly on the night stand. It was a book about the history of priestess and their power. She found it peculiar that it resided on her night stand. She sat down in a chair and began to read, she looked up suddenly and Kanna was standing before her.

“Kanna?”

“You should put that away.” The haunted child stated plainly.

“What do you mean?” Kagome was confused.

“The Master Naraku will not be happy if he sees you reading this book.” Kanna said as she looked pointedly at the book in her hands.

“Did you leave this for me Kanna?” Kagome asked as she looked at the girl. She receive a blank look back and eventually a slight head nod. “Why?”

“The master does not want you learning about your past and your powers. This is information you could use to possible usurp him.” Kanna said. “Hide it when he is near.” She said and without another word.

“That was...odd.” Kagome thought to herself as she continued to read, keeping her sense aware so she could sense when Naraku was coming.

Sesshomaru pounded on his desk happily. He finally had a location for her, something concrete that he could look into. He had sent his spies out to see if he could spot movements that were indicative of Naraku. It was frustrating, Sesshomaru hated waiting and he just couldn't wait to get her out of Naraku's clutches. He wondered what she was doing now. It was nighttime and it couldn't hurt to visit her.

“Kagome, Love.” He whispered to her, he found her dozing, in an actual dream, it appeared she had fallen asleep reading. This was strange he had never encountered her like this before. He kissed her and she awoke to him.

“Lover?” She whispered.

“Yes. How are you dear? This is the first time I have encountered you actually falling asleep”

“I've been moved, Naraku is letting me stay in a room. I awoke earlier to Kagura bathing me, I was given an array of dark colored kimonos. They say that we are in a stable location now. Earlier...earlier Naraku came in, I said some things that I shouldn't have, I'm just so sick of all of this. He raped me again, lover, wanted to show me a lesson. He spit on me and then after I changed I found this book.”

“Book?”

“Yes it's about miko's and where my power comes from. Kanna left it for me, she said to make sure Naraku did not see it, that he didn't want me to learn about my powers.”

“I wonder why?” He said as he held her tightly.

“Kanna said I could usurp him.” Kagome said as she sighed.

“What is it darling?” He angled her head so that he could look at her better, her eyes had become slightly more vibrant, but he could sense how exhausted she was.

“I'm just tired, this is all exhausting, as is trying to keep myself from revealing anything or control my temper around him.” Kagome said as she stared up at him, the golden eyes pierced through to her soul and she found herself drowning. “Kiss me love, please, just one kiss will get me through the night.” She whispered. “Your kisses are worth waiting for.”

“As you wish.” He said as he swept her into a passionate kiss. He felt her pulling at him and devouring him and he couldn't wait until her could kiss her in reality. But for now this would do. He pulled her tight and felt her take solace in him. He felt the strong urge to make love to her, he wanted to fuck her brains out and show what it was like to enjoy the carnal acts. He need to rescue her, and soon.
