In all the fanfics I’ve read over the years, the romance always made me forget, in a way, who and what Sess truly is, and how, in this one, he hasn’t come to terms with his heart's desire as quickly. Or, the fact that his beast is not prevalent in this story.

Will Kagome fall into the void, or will she traverse into the light, making it impossible for Sess to bring her back? 

Is it weird that I don’t want him to rescue her this time? That I want her power to be her ancho, alone? I don’t want her to die by any means. I just hate a helpless, hapless, Kagome...

Holy...fucking....shit. I can't even... what just happened?!

Um, I don’t think my heart is going to restart for a few minutes. Heaven and hell are beginning to blur together, phew. Amazing chapter - I can’t even imagine what this will irreparably change. 

What. In.the. literal. Fuck?!  Holy shit.  What just happened.   I had to quadruple read this.  He murdered her.. he had a fucking hissyfit and MURDERED her and the only reason she is still "alive" is because of the jewel shard somehow rested in her chest.   I didnt see this coming. And maaaan, I hope sesshoumaru  BURNS!   what a way to  leave us hanging.

 Please tell me  you have the next chapter ready to go.  I dont think I can wait  any longer then a day for the next installment!

Another amazing chapter. Sesshomaru is an idiot but we knew this already. Poor kagome is at her lowest and now she has to deal with another attacker.

Sesshomaru has it all wrong lmfao they need to have a serious conversation, though I can see it isn’t exactly easy right now. Jakken is an idiot ahahah so funny. The ending is so nice! I love your story.  It is well written and I like the way you write the complex emotions that each character feels.  You have a talent for showing the internal struggles of Sesshomaru and Kagome in a way that feels natural for the story.  I like that you take your time with the details in your sex scenes and there isn't a rush to full intercourse. There is a sense of urgency and tension but a surprise in how far Kagome and Sesshomaru will go; that makes it a more enjoyable read for me.  I like how the relationship between Kagome and Sesshomaru is never clear cut and this gives the development of it a more dynamic progression. I look forward to reading more of your story.

Jakken is a riot. He's like that co-dependent best friend that dangles his friend's ex-girlfriend in front of him because he doesn't like the new gf. 

This chapter was kind of sad because their problem is simply a lack of communication and different expectations. But lol at how Mr demon in charge couldn't figure out Kagomes body language even after his encounter with that dark-haired blue-eye demoness that didn't want to screw him.

He's so delusional. Btw, this is the first time I've found his character to be so dumb but likable at the same time.

AHHH I love this story!!!! I'm glad Kagome stood up for herself she's better than becoming some concubine or side chic she is worth more and after all that crap with Inuyasha, she realizes it. It's going to be hard but Sesshomaru's going to have to get over himself. My only question is with her being human how will they be together forever?

Oh dear, I have to agree with another reviewer, I was so disappointed in Kagome in this chapter. She’s doing that immature, blind stumble into exacerbating her own fear with storytelling. Despite her misgivings and fears (rational or not), both she and Sesshoumaru have built rapport during their travel; a delicate camaraderie. Therefore, to see her act out wildly mixed signals towards him seems so...unfortunate...when it seems she could have fearlessly just said what needed saying, as she always does. I guess it’s the ol’ reject-before-being-rejected thread. Ack, Kagome! It’s funny to feel more sympathy for Sesshoumaru here. Perhaps as a reader I identify more with her plight and feel more frustration her because I wish for her to have greater emotional growth. Her rejection of him, without communication, is no better than how she perceives his treatment. That said, the ending of that chapter was spooky. Such wonderful writing, as always!
