That merman got to be Sesshomaru, he said Hn and this one. Who is the youkai that cast a spell Kagome? Keep it coming.

That chapter made me breathe a sigh of relief. But, oh my, what will the others do now that Kagome's missing?  I absolutely love this story and look forward to it everyday. You truly do a wonderful job.

So I read all 25 chapters in 30 mins?? I hope that tells you that I REALLY like this story. The only thing that I'm wondering is "who is the Western Diayoukai, if its not Sesshomaru?!?!" Since its not Naraku, I'm stuck. Hopefully this character will be identified in later chapters!! Keep up the good work!!

I really love this one, and I have yet to read another like it. The storyline is wonderful and the character depth is very good. The beach display was pretty creative. Again I am loving this story.

Aaaargh, she KILLED them?  Even if just two or three...this is definitely going to be seen as a much worse offense by the Mer-King as she is now an adult not a 10-year old child...I want to think this is another dream (why else would she have been at the shore during the night after all) but I am fairly certain this is reality.  At least her reiki is suppressed now that she's been pulled into the water -- hopefully she won't be able to kill any others while dragged under...

correct me if I am wrong but has the western lord ever been refered to as seshomaru?  I am kind of hoping that the merking is sheshomaru, and that the current 'bastard' lord of the west is inuyasha. I really want this to be true so I won't feel bad for rooting for the merking!!!

Hmm...interesting. That last dream was a little strange. It almost seemed as if someone was egging her on, both times. Wonder how Kagome's change in attitude will effect everything else, and especially the merprince's tatic to get her. Lots going on and everyone waiting for the first attack. oh my, what a distressing chapter! Hopefully Kagome will share her concerns and memories with everyone else (or at least maybe the slayers) so they can talk them out rather than just keeping her resolve inside.  You've answered the question regarding her mysterious memory but raised a new one - how did the Voice (and visions) get inside her head in the first place? Natural telepathy? Presumably, the Western Lord will do the same thing again this time and that's his plan to get her to destroy the Mer-King.  Now that she's older will she have any ability to defend against the Voice in her head?
