Please get all the rest you need. Then you can focus on writing and life. I hope that the next chapter Sesshoumaru get's what's coming to him from a kickass Kagome.

So far this is a very nice story, however one thing in this chapter pulled me out of the story. They are currently in London, England Kagome would have not tipped using dollars (the English system uses pounds).

I think this chapter was very subtle and nice. And it flowed smoothly to where it locked into place. From the moment you began writing this till now their characters have clashed quite well also. Nice work!

See, like I said, secrets have their way of coming out and usually at the wrong time...

Don't worry, hon, this wasn't as rushed as you may think. That's usually how secrets get told; very un-intentionally. I'm sure Shippou didn't mean to spill the coffee so to speak. (spill the beans?!?) I think he just got over excited about Kagome accepting Sesshoumaru's proposal to court him AND her getting the promotion she dreamed of, plus the fact that her promotion means they (he and Souton) get to work together with her more often. Shippou's original character has always been one of being overly excitable and honest to a fault, even when he should be quiet. He wouldn't have gotten hit by InuYasha so much if he just stayed quiet.

Keep it up, you're doing great.   JEN

p.s.  I like how she got InuYasha to bend to her will. Way to go!
