Ok, I'm already in love with this fic. I love that you've included things from Final Act. I love that your attention to detail is just enough to give the reader a feeling of being there with the characters, but not so much that you're like 'OK can we move on from the draperies please?' Some people just go overboard. I love this setup. In addition, on personal note... I'm a grammar nazi. I expect every fic to have mild errors, but I'm still always so appreciative of writers who don't make the "stupid" mistakes constantly. I think you're really talented, and I'm super excited to read the rest of this amazing story WHICH, btw, is listed as a recommendation on the forum. So glad I saw this!!!

So I found this story a couple of years ago, right after my finece cheated on me and left. I remember being angry at Inuyasha for leaving, crying for Inukimi, and for Kagome during her pregnancy. I have this story booked mark so I can revisit it over and over! I’ve loved your work and I have you bookmarked as well. It’s 3:19am where I am and as sad as this is about to sound I didn’t have a valentine this year. So instead I just read this whole story and a few others today. Katt, thank you for writing. Your work always tickles my muse into writing and I have “grown” with your stories. Thank you so much!
Stop reading this. Cant stand Kagome's stupidity in this story. She was 21 for god sake but u portrayed her character as if she was still a dense teenagers.

hmmm, good chapter, but some of this makes no sense? to me, anyway. first of all, i find it unrealistic that kagome should stop inuyasha's trial in the way she did. i mean, i would understand if she were to tell the elder that what he had done so far (whipping, that is) that it was enough a using her barrier and they could move forward with the decision on what they should do. he was , IS, her friend, but she is lady of the west now and showing favor to inuyasha would seem a little unfair. especially since a LOT of ppl were adversely affected by his decisions.
and why would elders choose which servants go where? maybe they could RECOMMNEND? but choosing, mmmm, not really convincing to me. she could also recommended the decision in regards to what could happen as a punishment. also, her being allowed to go with inuyasha while he was still considered a traitor by many without guards doesn't sit well, either. she could have chosen to leave a little after he had been escorted to the infirmary...
buuuuuuuuut, seeing as this is yer story, i won't tell you how to write it. i mean, everything else was done well enough fer me in terms of the story (with a few inconsistencies here and there, anyway). you create great drama (i was going nuts with the whole arranged marriage scene with Akita) just felt this was a little, yunno, yeh.
loved the story but.... how did Kagome's grandmother get the purple stone ring???
