Like I said, truth is a harsh mistress. She will not let you gloss over the facts, that you just decide to ignore. I always find it funny that   Inuyasha points out all these people that tried to kill her when she first met them, while conviently forgetting that he did the same sxact thing. OOO! Now some Tiny Sesshomaru truths. I guess it's time to start to reveal the male behind the mask.

Oh Inuyasha, defiant until the end, unwilling to see anything but what you think you see. Sometimes I wonder how he has lived as long as he has. I think the third movie dated him to be around 200, or 150 since he was pinned to a tree for 50 of those years, but seriously? How is he still alive?! On another  note, I think it is actually a good thing that Inupapa wants him to understand Sesshomaru. Inuyasha has always had this grass is greener outlook when it comes to our demon overlord, and I think it's about high time for him to come to grips with reality.

Oh, Inu are you starting to realize just how a precarious a situation you are really in? I am glad that Izayoi is not going to take any resposibilty towards Inuyasha's actions other than to say she should have told him there was no shame in what he is because honestly I think that if he had a stronger will or a bigger sense of maturity he would have figured all this out for himself.

We have a father's rage, an ex's truth, and now a mother's disappointment. And considering how much Inuyasha loves his mother, Izayoi being there and showing him things and being all upset over his actions is going to take a toll on him. I really hope they can prove the old adage "You can't fix stupid" wrong, because death and ignorance would be way to easy for him.

And finally, the wheels are starting to turn in that boy's head. Yay for progress, but I think it is going to be an uphill battle before things really start to make an impact. More truths and revelations needs to be revealed, because what Inuyasha thinks he knows but doesn't could fill up an ocean. :sigh: I am starting to get why you got nominated for best angst, because there is quite a tasty morsel in here.

Hmmmm yes, I think that Kikyo was the way to go. Inuyasha could have played off his father not knowing what he was talking about in conjecture to his relationship with Kikyo, but coming from Kikyo herself? There can be no refuting the facts. I also like that she acknolwedges her part in the destruction of Kagome/Inu's relationship. However, on the grand scale of things her part is really pretty minimal. And Kikyo is right, I don't think Inuyasha realizes just what he has lost through his rash actions and hurtful words.

The truth is a harsh mistress, Inuyasha, and I have a feeling she is going to be particurally rough with you. At least Kikyo now realizes the truth of her feelings for Inuyasha, so that he can finally lay that horse to rest. And as of right now, no you are not worthy of Kagome, hell at this point I don't think you are worthy of Kikyo.

So we have a cross between Inu the Petulant and Inu the Eternally Stupid, I wonder how hard it is for Inupapa to not strangle him. Hmmm... Apparently, he never realized that someone who wants you to change everything that you are, I don't like your species, doesn't really love you for you. :shake my head: Moron...

And enter Inupapa! Someone has got to get through to him... I'm just hoping it will work. But if it doesn't, Sesshomaru is still going to be in a load of trouble when Inuyasha tells Kagome about the manipulation of the bond when they were in Edo. Regardless of the fact that Sesshomaru had no idea he had done it, I sincerely doubt that she will be appreciative. Alright, Inupapa, teach the hanyou some lessons.

Oh Inu... death has ways of making things blatantly obvious. Unfortunately, I think in many ways, it is just too late; but you need to learn just how much you truly don't know... and how much you messed everything up.

Kagome gets a little bit more incite into just how powerful Sesshomaru really is, and he gets some more incite into what she can do with hers. And d'aaaawwwww on the "Welcome home, mate". I like how it was impulsive, but at the same time reiterate that was she is so in awe of is hers too. Yay for awesome island homes...do you think there is room for us there?

I just got this ridiculous image of Sesshomaru as a Mother hen from this chapter, or Mother Goose....whichever. "Mate, you are human and fragile and being very foolish." :snort: I thought sitting was a logical option, but I guess not. At least she is all wrapped up in mokomoko. Is it ridiculous that I am jealous of a fictional character's nearness to another fictional character's fluff? Probably. But I do so enjoy fluffy things.

Time can heal all wounds, Kagome. Plus daily sex with a sexy demon overlord probably won't hurt either. I do feel bad for her though, everything she has ever really wanted has just fallen apart around her, and everything is backwards from how it should be. Sad thing is though, when Inuyasha does make a reapperance in her life again, there is going to be all kinds of trouble and forgiveness from her which will infuriate me. Oh well, we have plenty of time for me to come to terms with it.

Yay! Shippo is a comin'! Silly Sesshomaru, didn't you know that Mama!Kagome's fury is a fierce one? Luckily, he saved himself in just the nick of time. Now off to the fortress!

Oh Shippo, what a brave little warrior you are. Thankfully Sesshomaru appreciated your bravery... or brave stupidity whichever is the case. All you got for your troubles was a bop on the head, much like you got from Inuyasha. Hmmm, that made me  giggle, that and the petulant muttering of the little fox at his feet. XD

Bahahahaha! Oh Shippo! I can just see him scrabbling around up in the air before finally, going "screw it, this is all I can do". I also find it hilarious that he is all "Die" just like Sesshomaru. LOL

I think once she leaves, and they are left alone to really think about what is going on, they will never be the same again. For Sango and Miroku, it's almost like too much information coming at them way to fast to properly translate it. And yeah, where is Shippo?

And just like that, I remember it's not just Kagome's life and heart he destroyed, but the whole tachi's. They have fought side by side, bled together, slept together, lived together. There is a strong sense of family and unshakeable trust, But in a matter of moments he destroyed everything he ever built for himself, everything he held dear. Sango, surelym will have no forgiveness, and I doubt that Miroku's will be easily given. Now he is truly alone.

Awwww! He cleans her wounds and teases her. It's cute to see just how quick he is catching on to what she needs, in all ways. Now, it's time to brace myself for the Wrath of Sango. I think that I shall equate it with Hurricane Katrina....yes, that sounds about right or Mount Vesuvius. Maybe both.

It seems she is perhaps still a wee bit hysterical. But-BUT- she's going! YAY! But I don't think that Inuyasha realizes that he set his brother up perfectly to win the girl. While Kagome may desire and lust after Sesshomaru, she truly loved INuyasha, but his actions have pushed her straight into Sesshomaru's arms. To bad, so sad.
