You are such an insightful writer, Amber.  I think that is what I enjoy most about your work.  You seem to pluck that string that speaks to my heart.

I like this.  I'm curious where you're heading with this.  I'm intrigued by the inner workings of Sesshoumaru's mind and that he at least questions Kagome about why she is the way she is.  It makes him question his beliefs and maybe understand his father more.
