also forgot to mention, why on earth would there be a problem with sesshomaru not just jumping the gun and trying to get kagome as his mate now? planning and going at almost glacial speed seems much more his romantic style and kagome deserves to be courted and it would be a good way to get it through her head that he's doing things like, i don't know, getting her flowers or something because he wants to and would even if he wasn't her alpha and because he wants her as a mate, rather than her just putting it down to him doing extra nice things because she's part of his pack and her happiness is part of her duty

i'm going to guess that the dragon was that one that sesshomaru talks to sometimes, the one that in your flower girl story brought kohaku back and got collects ferns and that he was sent by sesshomaru's mother to push sesshomaru further

or if its another dragon entirely then he'll be confused about why he's still alive and probably end up becoming one of kagome's protectors or suitors if sesshomaru leaves him alive

an excellent chapter, yay for inuyasha getting married and loving that sesshomaru's come to such a realization about kagome and that scene was so cute!!

I see, so we have a dead dragon. I love it when the whole courtship thing is done right. And we all know Sess is going to make sure to follow every protocol there is so no one can say anything was done against regulation. LOL!

I'm glad you're taking it slow with them.  Makes it more realistic and interesting.  I don't enjoy a story where they instantly fall in love.  I like reading all the interaction as the love slowly grows.

yEy puppy! this is so cute, it's like a violent killing machine jsut realizes oh! my girl! and he's still just as violent, but not to her and his. so cute!

Well I am just so glad to hear that, 'cause I am not ready for this story to be over yet either! :-) It always makes me genuinely smile.

I just LOVE when you are feeling in the mood to dote on us with multiple updates. We love you! These were amazing updates. I thought the ending to this particular chapter was really good for two reasons 1) Kagome learned something in this chapter too - that she might come to the point where she'll HAVE to kill a not entirely evil entity for the singular purpose of survival (important lesson if she plans on keeping her promice to her family and seeing them again in 500 years)  2) It didn't end with daisys and rainbows. Although a warm note to the end, it does seem as though Sesshomaru went off to destroy the demon. Kagome can't fix everyone, bless her. And the dragon is demonstrative of that.

I love the depth and layers of this story. You must be an amazing person to know, for your writing shows such amazing insights.

Just a quick review to say that I am still reading and that I still LOVE this story!!  I am sorry that I don't review every chapter, but sometimes, all I have time for is a quick read of the update chapter and then I have work to do. :-( 

I always love what you put up, so don't let a lack of reviews make you think otherwise.

I agree. I think Sess would be one of the few that can accept his feelings; even though he hates the fact he has them, because that would mean he was emotional. So now that the realization has been accepted, how will he determine hers? Interesting to find out...
