I had no idea what BOTWG was, so I looked it up :) Turns out it's a Korean comic. As I am Korean, I'm very interested :P and I'll continue reading, although I would have done that anyways because your writing style is so good!

First off, I feel like I must apologise for not leaving a review on any of the other chapters. The reason for this is that this story is so wonderfully enthralling that I sat and read through it's entirety as soon as I found it. So technically, it's you fault that I haven't left any, because I simply could not take the time out in between each chapter since I had to know what happened next. XD

Secondly, reading through your later author's notes made me incredibly sad; you are clearly giving your all to provide high-quality fan-literature for your reader's entertainment and you should never have to apologise for that. Clearly, some of your audience misinterpreted your words and I would like to say sorry on their behalf for their assumptions which led to unjust accusations. I do not know you, but the fact that you are doing this for us, YOUR readers makes me very proud of you; and I would just like to say WELL DONE! It is understandable that you would feel discouraged if your hard work wasn't receiving any feedback- that happens to me too. 

Now on to the actual review, LOL: I love this story. As soon as I finished this chapter and saw that there wasn't another update to read, I almost cried. The plot is very entertaining; a wonderful mix of humour, sweet love, budding friendships, suspenseful action and a slimy villain- all things that make for a great adventure. You are clearly confident in your own writing (although there always those chapters which come out differently from what you expect, am I right?) and the enjoyment you find in your creation comes through in the writing. Kagome's friendliness with the other gods is heart-warming to read about, and her relationship with Sesshoumaru is absolutely gorgeous- their love for one another is pure and beautiful. The characterisations are great too! I haven't yet read the manhwa this is based on so I can't compare this to that, but evaluating them alone, all of your characters have distinct and surprisingly realistic personalities- given the universe this is set in... Sesshoumaru's brother K (I can't spell his name!) is probably my favourite character!

I hope you will eventually give a reason for Akuma's desire to destroy Kagome and his and Rin's origins in the later chapters, because their motives are very up in the air at the moment; but that just raises the anticipation even higher.

Basically, reading "With the Rain" made me happy and I am very grateful to you for deciding to undertake and continue this story.

Yay the story yet continues...I will admit I was starting to worry but I see it was for not...I only wonder if she will ever make it though her transformation...hehe ^-^  and I wonder what will be awaiting her if she does...who will she rule over?

I'm loving your story very much.  However, I'm confused.  If, in the myth, Izanami bore a daughter in her death throes, how is Sesshomaru male???  He was originally a "sister", right??   Just had to ask this before I continued on to this chapter....:D
