...YAY! Great job! Man I loved this story. Once I get my Nursing Degree and start working with patients like the ones described in this story, I know I will be doing something that will trigger my memory and look back on this piece of art and have warm fuzzy feelings.

wow... just wow... that didn't go how I expected it to, but when it got to the end I understood why it went that way. He needed to go on that journey so he could finish healing and become whole again. Poor Kagome though, that had to be so hard for her. But everything turned out alright in the end, I'm glad he went back to her and that they'll be able to spend the rest of her life in bliss... too bad she can't stay with him forever >.<

That was a wonderful story and I'm so sad to see it over, but I know it'll always be here when I want to read it again. You did a wonderful job and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

OMG!!!!!!! I love and hate this chapter, I CRIED!!!!!! When Sesshoumaru was pronounced dead and Kagome realized she was all alone then. And when she looked up the meanings to what Sesshoumaru said to her. Great chapter. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE PLEASE UPDATE SOON!!!!

SO I am absolutely amazed at your ability to stir emotions with fictional characters. I mean, the Inuyasha universe is far from reality, and as such should not be able to pierce us that deeply, right?

Well, you proved that wrong! I was happy, sad, angry and actually shed relieved tears when my hopes were found to be true at the end of this chapter. I have adored this story and will probably read it again sometime in the near future from beginning to end!

Incrediable chapters, wouldn't expect any less.  I love how you had Sessy be the trouble maker of the Salem witch hunts!  Hilarious, I could see him doing that just out of bordom, excellent!  I really liked the camping trip I got to learn more about the fine demon how he spent the centuries, even though it was so sad.  Not as sad as this last chapter, but something tells me his heart didn't stop due to the lightening storm but his heart regrew his original valve, once his body began to get stronger and heal its self. He is determined to live at least as long as Kagome lives, he seems happy for once, I don't think he's finished.  This remind me of the story he told Kagome about the human woman that held his fathers heart together until it mended it's self enough to heal.  Am I right?  Valve was just to hold his heart together till it was able to heal?  I guess I have to wait and see.  Like I said EXCELLENT!  Can't wait to find my answers, it's sad that it's ending thought, write more!  Well till next update, write on!

Oh my god. I just spent the last....almost 11 hours reading this.

What an incredibly intricate, detailed, well-crafted story. I love that you didn't shy away from going into the less savory and embarrassing moments of Sesshoumaru's treatment and recovery. That's something you don't get very often in fanfic and I think it makes this story feel all the more real. I loved when Sess told Kagome the story of how Inuyasha's parents met - i guessed it was them and was happy to find I guessed correctly.

There are so many great, touching moments in this fic, but so far I think my fave is the way you wrote the moment where Kagome holds his heart in her hands - with the other doctors chattering in the background set against Kagome's burgeoning appreciation of silence and her having this incredibly powerful, emotional moment was so poignant.

I also cried. A lot.

part of me....a very very tiny part, wants this 'real' ending, wants him to really be dead. there is something about the realness, the gravity that a character death ( a real death, not a i hate you die now death) brings to a story.

What the ****?! Dude... that was messed up, ya had me all sad and stuff then WHAM! He's not dead... I can't believe this is already the second to last chapter... this has been such a wonderful story, full of ups and downs. And this last chapter... hoo boy you sure know how to shock the heck out of someone don't you? Lol

There's a lot of things in this chapter that had my eyes watering, her seeing Inuyasha's remains, Sesshomaru DYING, the dream where Inuyasha handed her Sesshomaru's heart... I seriously thought he was trying to tell her to remove it, and last but not least, the ending where ya find out he's gone and he ripped the valve out on his own.

Dang girl you got me wanting the next chapter as of five seconds ago lol. But I suppose I have no choice but to wait as patiently as I can until tomorrow. As always great job... but really I hope the next chapter is happier.

If I wasn't crying so hard I would hunt you down and beat you with a wet kleenex! You have it down to a T - the sharp pain of loss, the dull ache of the future without your beloved, the emptiness, the bleakness... You broke my heart into little pieces and then came to - HOPE! You are making me insane with this story, but you have written what has to be one of the best stories in fandom. I will pass final judgement tomorrow...please, don't make me cry again.

I KNEW this would happen. I knew deep inside that this would come. Then WHY? WHYYYYYYYYYY??? am I still crying like an idiot?? why why why why why??? Maybe because I thought  "ok, the author wont be that MEAN and take him away" or "ok, Kagome already suffered enough and wont kill Sesshoumaru even if its for a little while..." but NOOOOoooo you did it anyway :(.
