Thanks for the update, as usual it is a chapter filled with awesomeness. I love how you portray the atmosphere of Edo as it prepares for battle. Everytime I read about it I can't help but think of how this could lead up to Edo becoming an important area of Japan in the future. I also really enjoy seeing Sessh's mom in all of her dubious glory. Can't wait to see how she plays out in the battle with Ungai.

I know all about taking care of week old kittens. I live in an old farm house in the country and started with 1 indoor outdoor cat. Putting out food for her attracted strays etc etc until I ended up with a mother cat who would have litters and then abandon them. I'd end up setting up the live trap or just chasing down the little ones with heavy gloves on, then bringing them in the house in the cat carrier. Ugh, I remember having to dropper feed them every few hours and wash them at least once a day. I had to make sure they could hunker down in bedding that would keep them warm enough and that their cage was clean until they were tame enough to be let out. It always resulted in three month old kittens running amok on my furniture until I could get the free kittens sign out to the road.

My praise to you for taking on such an onerous task. I recommend, once they get towards the age they can be weaned, to crumble up bread into a dish of skim milk for them. It'll help them bridge the gap between liquid food and solids. Canned cat food tends to be too rich and mess with their digestive tracks. I find once they can eat solids that a dry food for kittens works the best. Also careful litter training them in anything other than an actual litter box. I did it once, trying to save a hassel, and lined a cardboard box with plastic then put litter in. BIG mistake. From then on out they thought every plastic bag or cardboard box was free bathroom territory.

Hopefully real life doesn't get you too pressed for time. I am looking forward to reading the next chapter!

Thank you for the update. I know what you are going through with the baby kitten. My sister used to bring home strays. I agree the ones that did that should be punished (not sure if that spelled right).  I love this story and I can't believe I forgot about the island.

I understand what you mean. A few months ago, my little sister found a basket full of newborn kittens. They still had their umbilical stumps on. We nursed them back to health, well, one of them. Someone took one and the other died on us.

Loved the chapter. I can't wait to see what conclusion she finally comes up with. I know it's going to be simple, but I just can't figure it out! Geeze, I'm going to be just as upset as Kagome when this is all over.

That was a nice chapter that didn't involve guts and glory. Now that everyone has found someone we can move on with the battle or atleast with Kagome figuring out the battle. Everyone has something they're fighting for, but Im still wondering how you are going to get Kagome to solve this epic mystery. I look forward to finding out :)

What were Sess's and Kagome's reactions to the 12,000 year old bond they felt when they got back?

Otherwise, I liked it a lot! The part with Satori and Kagura just about made me hurt myself laughing.

Oh, I'm so glad you finally wrote about the other couples.  However, Kikyou with a fire elemental?  That's definitely a first!  But, I love it.  And, the bit with Kagura and Satori, hilarious!  Way to go!  Can't wait to see how that goes.  HeHeHe!  Oh, and Sesshy chasing his own tail.  What a visual!  LOL!!  Keep up the great work.  Can't wait for the next chapter.  :D
