Herbal~Tea (Chapter 40) - Sun 16 Dec 2012
Thank you for this beautiful piece of written art. You really did an excellent job with this tale, it is odd that when it was still incomplete I found myself waiting impatiently for the next chapter and now that it has been completed I realise I won't be able to eagerly anticipate any further chapters. However, all tales must come to an end and I will most definately look out for more of you work as well as recommend you to others. Well written! :)

Knight of Disorder (Chapter 40) - Sun 16 Dec 2012

Great finish, I love the circular logic. It seems like something Kagome would end up getting caught in.

Qiwi (Chapter 40) - Sun 16 Dec 2012

KyonKyon01 (Chapter 39) - Tue 11 Dec 2012

I think it was good that you added this chapter.  It helped soften things up a bit.  I was one of the people who thought it was a mistake to have Kagome and Sesshoumaru give up their son.  Even up until the last chapter, I still felt that that decision had left a shroud of regret and bitterness over the story as a whole.  However, now I think there is a certain kind of beauty in how this was written.  People have to live with their choices, for good or for ill.  You don't get a road map, you have to take action based on the best knowledge that you have at the time.  That's what Kagome and Sesshoumaru were faced with and the choice they made had consequences.  They will never know how he was when he was a child, they gave up getting to see him grow, gave up building a bond and having that love.  They have to live with that.  Sadly, Yoshimaru had to live with that choice too, something that was completely outside his control.  He had a right to be bitter about that.  It was justified.  I even felt angry on his behalf that it was on him to forgive them.  Life is unfair in that way.  Sometimes you have to make the hard choices and be the one who lets things go.  He didn't have too and it was good that Kagome and Sesshoumaru accepted that.

I think many times forgiveness is more beneficial to the person who's been slighted than to the actual person who's done the hurt.  Yoshimaru chose to try to understand what happened and move on from it.  He will never get back what he lost, neither will Kagome and Sesshoumaru.  But they can gain something new.  That is a very beautiful truth about life and I think this chapter expressed that well and it brought some peace to the story.

Looking back and thinking the choice you made as a writer, it came to me that you could have written it in a way where there was a perfect decision to make that would have resolved everything nicely.  However, I respect the fact that you gave them an imperfect choice, one where the future wasn't forseeable, where feelings were hurt and the outcome although messy is still mendable.  It was a different way to go and in the end I think making that choice allowed a different message to seep through.  It wasn't a sweeping, fantastical fairytale ending.  It was softer and sadder, but still important.  In a story that started with matchmakers, castles and a magical chain it ends with a modern, relevant message about forgiveness and moving forward past pain and regrets.  While the sap in me still yearns for that fantasy ending...the grown up in me respects and appreciates that message and thinks that it was the right choice to make.

I look forward to reading the epilogue.  Keep up the good work!

Loveyaa (Chapter 38) - Mon 03 Dec 2012

Aww...I almost don't want it to end. Im glad that you had everyone together and then had them all trickle back in on their own. Im glad that they did in fact keep in touch and that Kagome and Sesshoumaru were still able to have time for themselves. They have quite the relationship and I quite enjoy the way you write it. I can't wait to see what happens next for the last time :)

LoveAndFaith (Chapter 38) - Fri 30 Nov 2012

Arc-an Angel (Chapter 38) - Fri 30 Nov 2012

Whattt!?! Stopped taking her pills? Sneaky Kagome.

TruGemini (Chapter 38) - Fri 30 Nov 2012

So we have made it to then of the line. I'm glad that they conversed as they should, and were ready to accept the role of the villians if that is what he truly wanted. The depth of feelings in this story and the issues dealt with were great, and you gave each one the proper respect and explained them fully. I am soooo glad you did not give up this story Chie.I knew the ending up to the Epilogue would be awesome, and you surely delivered. Looking forward to your next works.

MArtha (Chapter 38) - Fri 30 Nov 2012

It's been forever since I've seen this story. I'm so sad that it's almost over. But I'm happy that you updated!!! I feel like I need to read this story again. I forgotten how beautifully written it was and how amazing the characters are. After the first few lines, I finally remembered the story a bit. I've forgotten some of the characters, but I think you've done an amazing job on this story. I can't wait for the next update!!!
