Hey, I love the story and your writing is quite solid. There is just one teensy little spelling error that keeps popping up. Loose and Lose. Loose: free or released from fastening or attachment. ex. A loose end. Lose: to fail to keep, preserve, or maintain. ex. to lose one's balance. I just noticed that throughout your story you are using "loose" when the intended meaning is "lose". Example: "Loosing her sanity" should be "Losing her sanity"

"fountains filled with large coy towered over here." coy should be koi. A person can be coy; playfully shy; but the word for the fish is Koi. Other than this small error, you're doing very well. No one's perfect that error just brought my brain to a screaming halt and I couldn't get past it for a few read throughs before finally understanding what was being said.
