hikari hime (Chapter 29) - Wed 10 Dec 2008

Cobwebs and rainbows heh? I don't think Kagome would ever want to deal with a cobweb lol. If they get into trouble, there's going to be some Kohaku chewing.

And what is it with all those males turning around the little Miko? She always ends injured or worse because they treat her like a friggin' object. That's not what's love's about, but I guess not knowing that is a male thing... lol

Good chapters lass, I look forward to reading more.

GO SESSHOUMARU!! Kick Inuyasha's ass! And I love Ai!! She's a marvelous character and I love her dearly! She's awesome! Lovely installment, deary! Stupendous! I can't wait to read more!

swasdiva (Chapter 28) - Tue 09 Dec 2008

BTW, Cat's in the Cradle would fit eerily well with this chapter. Hmm. *shivers*

swasdiva (Chapter 28) - Tue 09 Dec 2008

Good gracious. Now that is a personal history. Chewed out by Yahweh and trapped as, I'm guessing, the Oracle at Delphi? I could go on a rant about what being she may have been (because, again, if I haven't said it enough, I am a mythology, history and religious nerd), but then that completely sucks the fun out the glorious, mysterious, and utterly beautiful backstory you've written. No wonder Sesshoumaru is so ethereal while his father and Inuyasha are more rugged and earthy. Perhaps he and Kagome are more alike than he and his brother? Speaking of, we see where Inuyasha gets his commitment issues. Dude, if Dad dropped a demi-goddess (that's some nice alliteration, there) I think Inuyasha is doomed.

And I must say, the whole "rival" bit has me wondering about Inu no Taisho's intentions with Kagome. I. J. S.

swasdiva (Chapter 27) - Tue 09 Dec 2008

Oh, wow. Very wicked chapter. The imagery was spellbinding (loved the allusion to Chinese fireworks and the Roman roads...I am a certified history nerd), and the confrontation was to die for. I didn't enjoy it for the delusional reasons Jak might've, but I was glued to the screen, my eyes sopping up the carnage like the proverbial train wreck. I LOVED how you spun in the last chapter of the manga. Brilliant tie to the world you've created. And I LOVED the way you unraveled Inuyasha's id, those compulsive urges to destroy anything he loves. Kind of makes it easier to blame them when they leave, as I'm sure, subconsciously, he believes they'll do anyway. Self-fulfilling prophecy, much?

Great installment! I wonder if Sesshoumaru is going to rub it in Inu's face that he has, in fact, bedded and MATED a woman, and her name just happens to be Kagome. Will he lay it out on the line or bide his time to reveal it at a more pivotal time, kind of like pressing the little red button that launches nuclear bombs? I'm on pins and needles to find out!!!!!!

not-active (Chapter 26) - Tue 09 Dec 2008

The knifethrower has burnt out :(

I will use my mind to give you inspiration... ~~~~~~~~~~~~>>>

There goes the inspiration wave!!!!!!! <3

Maggie Schelmety (Chapter 26) - Mon 08 Dec 2008
Your story is amazing I can't wait for ur next chapter.

Whisper (Chapter 26) - Mon 08 Dec 2008

wow. Thank you so much for updating, knifethrower-sama! Your story is very adicting. This last chapter sealed it for this one, methinks. Very unusual characterization of Sesshomaru's mother. "Curious and curiouser..."

Fluffy Lady (Chapter 26) - Mon 08 Dec 2008

hnn... interesting.  I am eager to read more! So, once more Kagome is the play-thing of the gods, eh?  lol.  Not too surprising.

Inu Guardian (Chapter 26) - Mon 08 Dec 2008
I like Sesshoumaru's mother. She seems pretty cool. Does Sesshy-chan take Rin to her? What Sesshoumaru needs to do is take Rin over his knee and give her a sound spanking. No child should speak in such a way to their parent, even if they're adopted.

swasdiva (Chapter 1) - Mon 08 Dec 2008

And did the Star Wars reference have something to do with the "How rich?" statement? I vaguely heard a little Han Solo swagger in that exchange, or I could be delusional.

swasdiva (Chapter 26) - Mon 08 Dec 2008

I'm starting to feel a bit like I'm watching "Lost". Not in the sense that I'm actually lost, but regarding that nobody really "dies" (sorry to those who don't watch the second most amazing show on TV), so Sango's limbo and meeting Touga don't really shock me as much as intrigue me. I mean, enough people have been brought back from the dead in IY for it to make sense that Sango is still conscious of herself. It's kinda like Patrick Swayze's character in "Ghost". Took him awhile to figure out he was dead. Anyway, I digress.

I wonder who SessMom is referring to about "the one in hell" who wants her dead. I could easily assume it's Naraku, but with your way of twisting things, I don't want to bet all my money on that roulette number yet.

The scenario with Miroku and Inuyasha, as much as I loathe them right now, has me the most interested. It's just so mysterious I feel compelled to figure out the puzzle. I'll be honest, the SessKag parts are still happening a little too quickly for me. I understand you're moving this story down the epic road, well I assume you are since heaven and hell are warring over Kagome's soul with Rin sticking her prissy little nose in the middle, but there's something reassuring and substantive when the reader can see love grow past the glossy love declarations. It might be nice to see some genuinely tender moments that don't involve the word "love" or the act of love (why, exactly, am I telling you NOT to write Sess naked? That's it, I've officially lost it). Anyway, I know your talent will get us there and you have to set up stuff first.

And I agree with someone else who said there was not real hint Rin was doing something so diabolical as stealing Kagome's soul. I guess that's because it was supposed to be a surprise, right? ~_^ Her admission just seemed a little out of the blue, but again, I trust the backstory will develop as the fic progresses.

Obviously, I'm still as enamored as ever!

hikari hime (Chapter 25) - Mon 08 Dec 2008

Hmmmm... if she's a true Goddess, then does she know of Sango's demise? Or will she have another chance at happiness too?

It'll be fun if Toga could be revived with Sango and court her under Miroku's nose. A good retribution of the Fates? lol

Sesshomaru is being as honourable as ever. Good boy. Just what Kagome needed. But he's underestimating her again, she's always liked to take care of her own problems herself... ku ku ku

Good work lass. I'm looking forward to the next chapters. XD

Fluffy Lady (Chapter 25) - Mon 08 Dec 2008

Wow, this story could easily turn someone into a Rin, Miroku, Inuyasha hater.. lol.  I really like it!  I am thoroughly enjoying this story and wish for more.  So, is InuPapa dead or alive?  Same question about Sango.  I'm confused on that respect...

Bellaniece (Chapter 24) - Sun 07 Dec 2008
Make the Bitch pay!!!! good job, cant wait to see what you have next...

sugar0o who lurks (Chapter 23) - Sun 07 Dec 2008

i love this story i wish it were on ff so i could add it to my c2, but something has been bothering me. it seems to me that Rin has part of Kagome's soul? i re-read and could not seem to find the part of the story that said that happened, even in passing moment. So if its true when did this happen? thanks please update soon i love this - r0o

Inu Guardian (Chapter 23) - Sun 07 Dec 2008
Sesshoumaru is so dreamy....*sigh* He must get it from his father....Who was also quite dreamy. I really want to kick those boys' asses. Have I said that already? Yeah, I think I have. Kagome is so lucky! Another great installment! I love the cheesey pick-up lines Inu no Taisho was throwing at Sango. Classic.

hikari hime (Chapter 22) - Sun 07 Dec 2008

This... this is the twilight zone... are you sure you don't own the X-files? No, seriously...

Not that I don't like, it's not that... I just feel a little confused. Sango didn't realise she was dead? Because the Inu no Taisho most definitely is... well, in the 'normal' Inuyasha universe anyway. Or perhaps it's all an illusion. Perhaps Byakuya (spelling?) is still living?

Ugh. And I didn't even recognise the Star Wars reference. Shame on me, I can't even say I'm a nerd anymore! *sobs pitifully*

Anyway... the story's getting weird, but I'm getting very very curious now... and a curious reader is a happy reader, so carry on with the good job!

Inu Guardian (Chapter 20) - Sun 07 Dec 2008
Wonderful again!! Sweet little Rin isn't so sweet any more. As much as I love the Sess/Kag pairing, I want to scream at the little brat for hurting Kagome and hating her like that. And Inuyasha's just a dumbass. So, is Sango okay? You have to tell us more on what's going on with her. Love it! Keep up the totally awesome work!!
