Kagome walked down the sidewalk alone. It was the first of many nights to come she could tell. They had fought. They had fought long and hard. Now it was over. She shivered as the wind whipped around her. Wrapping her arms around her middle she hunched down, her dark raven locks cascading overing her shoulders and bangs covering her eyes.
Kagome didn't remember how she got into her bed. She didn't remember anything after the wind picked up. She didn't remember how she changed and showered. She remembered before that. It was said that some people in a deep emotional state forgot their actions. Was she one of those people?
Kagome didn't care though. She didn't want to remember. She didn't want to remember anything about him. She felt like she was dying with out him.
[Chris]

Sesshomaru sighed. It was different now. Things had changed. They had fought. It wasn't a first. But it was probably the last. He had neglected her. She in turn had turned him out of his bed. She refused to be with him physically, while he refused to be with her emotionally. But he was. She was a part of him. The better part of him. Sesshomaru knew she cried. Knew she was walking home alone. Walking with out his safe protection.
He couldn't move.
His heart ached, and he knew that to see her would just make it worse. To see her tears and her own broken heart would break his more. It was his fault. He wished she knew. Wish she understood.
He couldn't chase after her.
It would destroy him.

Kagome cried. She cried until her eyes were sore and so swollen she could hardly see. She cried because she did understand. She knew. She couldn't face it. He was her life. Her earth to ground herself to. Her sky to soar in. Her water to sink in. And sink she did.
Kagome chocked as another sob came up.
It was so hard.

Kagome sighed. It had been two days. Two days of hell. She couldn't do anything. The idea of moving on, of forgetting physically hurt her being. It made her insides quiver and her heart ache. It made her mental being feel like it was being torn into two. That she shouldn't even be considering such a thing. Such a monstrosity. To live. To forget. To move on.
Sesshomaru slouched in his chair. He never slouched. To slouched showed humanity and weakness. To slouch made her smile when she saw him so relaxed. Sesshomaru curled his hand into a tight fist. Why was she still there. Here he was nearly downing in his loneliness. Chocking on the heavy waters of his life. How was she feeling? Was she fine? How?
[Chris]

Sesshomaru sighed. He hadn't done the incredible and fought his life to be with the woman he loved. He hadn't stood beside her till the end of their time. He hadn't left his family for her. He had walked to her, with a simply daisy. Simple and plain. Just like their relationship. He ran to her when he thought she might need him. He ran to her when she stood alone. Like she always did. He flew to her when she smiled. When she smiled his feet didn't even touch the ground. He moved over to her as if his being was part of the air. Like he was her air.
No Gravity.
No force to pull him away from her.
Nothing. It was just them.

Kagome gave a small trace of a smile. Her tears started to dry. Her health started to matter to her. Her spirit was not broken. No her spirit was still alive. And it was kicking. He had taken so much from her but she was alive. She was still Kagome. She was still Kagome with out him. The Kagome before him. The original. Just the like the nintendo. Old. Plain. Awesome.
She smiled as she thought how. Just like Nintendo, for it to have survived so long ment it had been loved and cared for. Who had cared enough for her to still be alive she didn't know. She didn't want to. It might change things.

Sesshomaru sighed. A week had gone by. How and when he didn't know. He just knew it went by and he was still aching for her. His throat felt like closing. He hadn't been alone for five years. He didn't know what to do. He based his life around her. He worked for her. He went away for her. She was his light at the end of the tunnel. His strength when he was weak. He chocked at the sudden urge to cry.

Sesshomaru closed his eyes and prayed to his father. How do you survive. When there's nothing left? He can't live with out her. But he can't die without her either. He needed her no matter what. Where was she? Why was she gone? A stupid trivial fight. He wanted her back. His chest was closing in. His heart was so heavy he could feel the pressure agaisnt his chest. His eyes were so wet that a tear may have slid out with out realization. He was drowing in his need to for her. He could not be isolated again. To be alone.
With out her he died.
With out her he ment nothing.

Kagome cried out. There was nothing anymore. Where did her laughter go from just moments before? Where was it now? Who had taken it so unkindly from her? There was nothing. Her chest started crushing on itself. Well that's how it felt. Her lungs weighed more than normal and felt like they were being pulled down and squeezed. Her heart was beating rapidly again.

He knew what to do. It was doing it. He couldn't live without her. His bleeding half of a heart needed her to complete it. To complete him. But he didn't chase, run or play lap dog to anyone. He never went after someone. They always came to her. But he knew. Just like her this was different. He had never felt this way. Never. He knew he had to find her.
He found her. The first place he looked. Wasn't he suppose to find her in the last place? His heart pounded under his ribs but he was sure his shirt was moving from how hard it was beating. Sweat was sliding innocently down his back. His eyes were getting blurry. Just seeing her. Looking as bad as he felt.

When she realized what she had to do she hoped it wasn't too late. Just a little late was ok, but too late ment drastic measures. " How am I suppose to live with out you?" Kagome asked him. " It hurts without you. More than I can explain, and more than should be physically possible."

Sesshomaru almost smiled. This was her. This was the one he needed so bad in his life that without her his world fell apart. What was he going to do? How does someone fix something like this. That was when his world crashed. Could he fix it?
Kagome shivered. Her hair was standing on end. Would he answer? Her breath was coming in short. She needed an answer. She didn't know what to do if he answered. Wether or not it was what she wanted to hear. She was afraid she couldn't hand the answer either way.

Kagome glanced at his face. It was unreadable as always. She was in over her head with him. She couldn't help it though. She loved him.
Tell me how you gonna be without me?
"How would you ever live with out me Kagome?" Sesshomaru said, gazing into her eyes with all the love he could muster.
If you ain't here I just can't breathe
"I couldn't. Without you I'm nothing. Without you I'm invisible." Kagome's answer was soft. She was afraid to say it. Was it the wrong answer?
"How would you live with out me?"

"I couldn't Kagome. Never. Without you I die. Without you I lose myself. I forget who I am. You are me." Sesshomaru whispered to her. His eyes locked on her. He wouldn't look away.
"Good because I would die to. I would too." Kagome's soft response whispered across the air between them.
No air
"With out you there's no air." Sesshomaru whispered as he leaned in and hugged her body tight. This was where she was suppose to be.
"No air." Kagome whispered back as she wrapped her arms tightly around his middle. This was right. Now there was air.

I didn't want to get discriptive in this because I wanted you guys ( the readers ) to be able to imagine almost everything yourself. Put the setting you want to it. I also felt like discription might ruin it. Or maybe it is ruined without the discription. Who knows. I don't!
