Chapter One

The High moon illuminated in all its glory in the dark blanket of the night sky. Light rays reaching, touching to the earth through the dimness of a shadowy atmosphere. A lone figure stood in front of the familiars of many buildings connected together The cold wind blew silently through the many concrete paths eerily

The light moon shadowed a Petite figure upon the cracked concrete pathway the wind howled playing with the dark long locks of a female figure. A pair of almond shaped eyes scanned the white building her blue eyes held nothing but disdain for said building memories flowed to her mind nothing good but continuing on she approached the structure her eyes sweeping through the halls nothing was heard except the silent clicking of her heels viewing the familiar halls a frown came on to her beautiful face.

"Damn Dog I can't believe he blackmailed me into coming here, here of all places the very institute that dubbed me as a geek a reject a social outcast amongst the said "Popular People" that damn Dog must be laughing from his high and mighty chair right now" her frowned deepened then slowly her mouth began to form into a smirk her blue eyes brighten up with mischief.

"Hmm I hope he enjoys his little victory for that little stunt he pulled...ahh revenge is a dish best served cold" a sinister laugh echoed off the hallways her musing was cut short by the sudden ringing of her phone.

*Smack that all on the floor smack that give me some more smack that 'till you get sore smack that oh-oooh! *

Flipping her phone open she answered

"Kagome here"

"KAGOME!!" was screamed out of the other end she snickering slightly she calmed herself before answering

"Yes"

"You disobedient little scheming sectary of mine why of all the people in the world you had to call My Mate, MY MATE!! Of all people"

Maintaining her composure she cleared her throat replying with feigned innocence.

"Whatever do you mean Mr. Takahashi I have the faintest clue of what you're talking about?"

"I know it was you Kagome I've been on the phone for two hours, TWO HOURS!! With my Mate she's threatened me if I don't apologise to you she's sending me to the coach"

Unable to hold it any longer she laughed uncontrollably enjoying Inutashio screaming out obscenities plots of revenge on the other end of the phone after a minute they subsided to giggles gasping for breath she maintained her composure before replying.

"Oh how the mighty have fallen, you sir are differently whipped" smirking slightly

"I'M NOT WHIPPED" imagining his pouting face she began to giggle a bit more

"Sure keep telling yourself that"

"I'm not" rolling her eyes at his immature behaviour she gave a small smile

"Anyways I've got to get going before I'm late for my own reunion argh!! Damn you Tashio I'll make you pay" hearing chuckling on the other end only made her more irritated by the great Dog Demon.

"Well enjoy yourself" pausing he added seriously "Be on your guard and watch the Pup make sure he doesn't do anything to rash"

"Yes sir it's what I do"

"Be careful yourself Kagome your like a Daughter to me" blue eyes softened slightly

"No problem sir" closing her phone she gave a small smile before shaking her head and walking to her doom.

"God it's only been five minutes and I'm already bored" sighing she cursed under her breath "Damn Dog" signalling the bartender for another shot she drowned in another glass enjoying the burning sensation running through her throat thanking god that they had Alcohol which was surprising since this is a school dismissing that thought she turned her attention to the crowd remembering some of the faces from the old days.

"Ahh the life of a pubescent teen not my most fondest of memories" thought Kagome looking at her seemingly lonely drink regretting leaving it alone for so long she lifted her glass intending to drown in another glass she was stoped by a deep voice she looked up from her glass to see a dark tanned male, black hair, blue eye's dressed to impress noticing his pointy ears a Youkai a Wolf Youkai she immediately recognised him as Kouga the Wolf Prince of the Eastern Lands The Youkai that had a ridiculous idea that I was "His Woman".

"Hello Kouga" before she could escape she was lifted off the stool into a tight embrace

"KAGOME!!" slightly embarrassed by people turning their attention to the two she tried to remove herself from the confines of the Wolf Prince.

"Kouga do you mind but can you LET ME GO!!" screaming into his sensitive ears watching him wince she was immediately put back on her feet sighing in relief she noticed his one hand seemed to remain on her hip not noticing her anger the Wolf continued his prattling.

"My woman sure has filled out quite a lot and those clothes they certainly show your finely defined shape into this black dress –"

Her eyebrow twitching in annoyance she was about to punch him he kept saying "His Woman" before she could another loud voice was heard.

"WOLF"

Turning his attention to the direction of the voice he was confronted by a Half-breed friend wearing an expensive Armani suit

"What do you want mutt-face"

"What are you doing here you mangy-wolf aren't suppose to be with Ayame she's gonna be pretty pissed at you when she finds you chatting up some woman" turning his attention to said woman he trailed his eyes up and down her body ogling mainly at her chest getting very annoyed she decide to speak.

"Do you mind not ogling at my breasts or I'm more then likely going to shove my heel right up your ass" starring at his wide eyed face and agape mouth she added "got that puppy" few seconds passed before she was tackled again

"HOLLY SHIT KAGOME!!" Lifted off the ground into a bear hug once again she stared mournfully at her forgotten drink patting his shoulder

"I can see you missed me Inuyasha do you mind letting me go"

"Yeah like my woman said let go" angry golden eyes turned to Kouga dropping Kagome unceremoniously on the stool he turned to the wolf.

"She ain't your woman you bastard" yelled Inuyasha

"Of course she is Mutt-Face," yelled Kouga

Sighing knowing this was gonna be turned in another one of there petty fights she quickly drank the last contents of her glass turning on her heel walking away unnoticed by the two walking no where in particular she came to a familiar stairwell leading upstairs needing some fresh air to calm her nerves she walked up opening the door a blast of air rush through her hair putting her cold hands in the pockets of her trench coat leaning her crossed arms against the rail her head over looking the Moon.

How many nights did she spend looking at the Moon always wondering about what secrets it held just sitting there in the darkness of the sky always distancing it self from the stars almost liked it seemed alone always alone closing her eyes a voice played into her mind over, over again something she could never get rid of it always reminded who she was.

"No one will ever love a whore you don't deserve anyone you'll be alone always alone"

A sinister laugh echoed through her mind she gripped on the rails tightly her knuckles turning white.

"Damn you even when your dead you still haunt me" lifting her head to feel the light touches of the moon the wind playing her black locks she gave a sigh of content this place once her sanctuary through her years of school gave her the peace needed to close her thoughts and be free from the frustrating life of High School loosening her tight grip on the rails she slowly relaxed enjoying the air as it's gentle winds splayed on her face only to be disturbed by and abrupt noise the door was slammed open. Years of training taught her to always pay attention to her surroundings.

"So much for that" thought Kagome without a second thought she turned around swiftly into fighting stance setting her blue eyes coldly at her assailant's she noticed a faint sign of surprise was there for a second only to reveal an impassive stare into those golden eyes.

"Golden eyes" thought Kagome she only knew three people who had those eyes Inu Tashio, Inuyasha and her eyes widend.

"...Sesshomaru" she whispered
