Incest Love

Chapter 1

Kagome Taisho stood up and stretched. The first day of summer vacation. She smiled to herself as she busied herself in getting all of her "borrowed" textbooks that her friend Sango had stolen from home base while Miroku had choked on a candy bar. Miraculously they didn't get caught, but Miroku was a little mad at Sesshomaru, Kagome's elder half-brother, for pushing the candy bar down his throat to use him as a distraction. Not that Miroku would say anything to Sesshomaru: Sesshomaru was not someone to yell at.

Her room had posters of Slipknot, Linkin Park, Britney Spears, and of random colored faeries on the wall; Inuyasha had chastised her for having such odd tastes; what normal girl liked Slipknot and Britney Spears? Her walls were painted light lavender with a white ceiling, which she hated. Her carpet was beige and thick and soft and up to her ankles, causing her to sink in it if she stood in one place for too long. Her bedroom, closet and bathroom doors were mahogany and the inside of her bedroom door was decorated with stars and little crescent moons. All in all Kagome loved her room. It was her sanctuary, a place where she could just relax without worrying about school or home problems.

Kagome set the stack of books on her desk and grabbed her lush green towel and padded to the bathroom that was connected to her room. Every bedroom had its own unique bathroom, something that the Taisho family was known for. Kagome had always wondered why everyone had bothered talking about it; her mom had a unique taste when it came to decorating bathrooms, that's all. Nothing else, nothing more.

Kagome had a Jacuzzi sized bath against the wall, and a shower in the corner with a velvet feeling shower curtain with a picture of black tailed mermaid. She had it for so long she didn't want to give it up. Her elder brother, Inuyasha, told her that it was childish and that she needed to get rid of it, but she just hit him on the head when he said something like that. It was something she had had since she was small. Plus she loved to touch it; to trace her fingers along the mermaid's tail and to close her eyes and imagine swimming under the water, deeper than anyone had gone before.

Kagome loved marble and had asked for her bathroom floor to marble. Her father had laughed, but she got what she wanted. The next day her bathroom floor was black marble and Kagome was overjoyed. Often she lay down on the cold floor and did her math homework, liking the feeling of the cold on her skin.

Kagome walked over to her tub and turned on the water, making sure it was just the way she loved it. She let the towel drop to the floor and climbed in the tub. She held her breath and dipped her head under the water, her dark hair making the water look black. As she reemerged she turned off the water so the tub didn't overflow and spill onto the marble floor. Kagome loved the way her floor looked under water; she often wished she could flood the bathroom so she could see what it looked like underwater.

Kagome reached for her lightly scented shampoo. Her family, except for her mom and her family, were dog demons and they had very sensitive noses. So Kagome needed to be careful not to overload her natural scent with flowers and honey, and all the other smells of the shampoo she used. She rubbed the shampoo into her medium length black hair and hummed "Imaginary" by Evanescence. After she was done, she dunked back under the water to rinse out her shampooed hair. Despite her hearing, she didn't hear her bedroom door open and close.

She surfaced and reached for her conditioner. Through her humming and her deep concentration, she didn't hear the intruder walk to the bathroom door. She reached for her body wash as she stood, getting ready to wash herself when she noticed her twin brother standing in the doorway. Inuyasha looked stunned; he almost looked like he was considering running away in the opposite direction.

"Uh..?" was all Inuyasha could get out as he blushed and looked away from his younger sister.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome screamed, as she quickly sat back into the water to cover herself. Her eyes were narrowed with fury, and her fists were clenched. She reached for a bottle of condition that smelled like strawberries, ready to use her weapon if need be.

"Um, I'm...sorry?"

"Get out!" The bottle of conditioner missed him by centimeters. Kagome reached for the matching shampoo, her grip making the sides of the bottle cave in. Unfortunately, when faced with violence Inuyasha rarely did the smart thing by retreating. No, the male hanyou stood his ground, glaring at his sister.

"Hey! You don't have to be so rude about it!" Inuyasha snapped, not realizing Kagome was preparing to launch another assault on his person.

"GET OUT!" Kagome shrieked as she hurled the bottle of shampoo at him. This time her aim was true: the shampoo bottle hit Inuyasha in the middle of his forehead, leaving an angry red welt before bouncing off to the corner of the room.

"Ok, fine, jeez!" Inuyasha stormed out before Kagome could throw everything else, including the sink, at him. He left the bathroom door wide open, but slammed her bedroom door so hard that it echoed throughout the house. Kagome smiled; their father and their elder half-brother hated when Inuyasha slammed doors. Kagome: two, Inuyasha: zero.

Kagome stood up and washed herself as quickly as she could and still feel clean so no more interruptions would ruin her bath. She was still miffed, how could Inuyasha just waltz into her room like that? She grabbed her towel and wrapped it around her so she could pick up the bottles of hair products. Kagome put them away on the shelf by her bath and began to brush her teeth

Kagome spit into the sink and poured herself a glass of water. Swishing the water around in her mouth, she made sure she didn't miss any toothpaste since the taste made her grimace. She spit out the water and rinsed off her toothbrush before putting it back where it belonged. She walked over to the bathtub and reached into the water for the plug. She grabbed the chain and pulled it out, pleased with her small victory. After a few minutes of brushing her hair, she went back to her room to get dressed; making sure her bedroom door was locked.

Kagome had hair that was so dark that it was actually tinted blue. Her hair went down to her lower back. Kagome had a tail; but unlike her half-brother's mother's tail, it was a cat tail. Her cat tail was midnight blue and actually had a white eight pointed star near the end. Her eyes were also odd. Everyone else, even her step-mother Aoi, had golden or amber eyes, but Kagome had sapphire eyes. Her claws were normal human-like fingernails, unlike Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's. So to spice them up she painted them with gold nail polish along with her toenails. Kagome's skin was lightly tanned, unlike her friend Kagura's, which was just as pale as her elder brother. Kagome's pride and joy were her blue cat ears that rested on the top of her head.

No one could figure out why Kagome looked like a cat hanyou instead of a dog hanyou. She wasn't part cat demon; her tail and her ears were just a string of rare birth defects that happen to some female hanyou before they were born. Kagome was viewed as a defect, but she loved her ears and her tail: they were part of who she was. Still, that didn't exclude her from any teasing or bullying. Luckily, around middle school, Sesshomaru had stopped being such an ass and had started to stick up for his younger siblings.

Kagome sighed and opened her closet door and pulled out a pair of camouflage cargo pants, a black shirt with a black and white sparkly motorcycle with a red sparkly cross behind it. On top there was red lined black-and-white letters saying "Wild child" and beneath the first inscription was "Brat" all in white. Directly below the motorcycle was a red lined inscription. "Step Aside Boys" it read in white italics. Kagome smiled. Her crazy old grandmother had bought it for her. Her grandma was a dog demon and was currently touring France with her new boyfriend. They were both loud and spontaneous; Kagome had thought they were a right, but her father seemed a little embarrassed of his mother's odd ways.

Kagome went over to her dresser and pulled out her matching bra and panties. Running back over to the door to be certain in was in fact locked Kagome dropped her towel and dressed herself. When she was done, she went to her closet again and knelt down and grabbed her black leather boots. Inuyasha had called them "hooker boots," Kagome's grandmother called them pseudo combat boots because of the heel and the zipper on the side.

Kagome ran back over to her dresser and looked in her sock drawer. "What the-?" Kagome growled at the sight of an empty drawer. She would have to remember to actually put socks in her sock drawer. Otherwise she'd be stealing socks from Sesshomaru until she was just as crazy as her grandmother. She unlocked and opened her door and snuck down the hallway until she reached her half-brother's door. Not bothering to shut the door, Kagome reached around until she could feel the wooden dresser.

'Hm, it's hard to see anything with it being so dark in here.' Kagome thought as she almost tripped over something. A wicked grin spread over her face as she slowly made her way to the curtains blocking the sun's rays from entering Sesshomaru's room. Kagome knew that Sesshomaru hated waking up with the sun in face. She also knew that he wasn't a morning person. Nevertheless, she grabbed the curtains before glancing at the sleeping form of Sesshomaru to make sure he was actually asleep.

"Kagome, what are you doing?" Kagome squeaked and dropped the curtain. Her heart was pounding in her chest as Inuyasha walked towards her. She had been sure that Sesshomaru was awake. She glared at Inuyasha before sighing.

"I'm giving Sesshomaru a wake-up call." She whispered back. Inuyasha grinned and they both grabbed an end of the curtains. Kagome looked back at Sesshomaru. He had changed positions, and was now facing them. It seemed that he was awake and watching them, but Kagome shoved the thought away. If Sesshomaru was awake he would throw them outside into the pool and take pictures to give to all of their friends.

"One..." Inuyasha whispered, interrupting Kagome's thought process. If Sesshomaru was awake he'd be up by now, but he stayed motionless except for his steady breathing.

"Two..." she whispered.

There was a brief pause as the twins looked at their half-brother. Kagome could see that his eyes were closed. Sesshomaru was asleep and about to be awakened quite rudely.

"Three!" Inuyasha and Kagome screamed as they ripped the curtains away from the window. Sunlight filled the room, chasing away the darkness, and making Sesshomaru growl as he sat straight up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Kagome and Inuyasha laughed until Sesshomaru lunged at them, making the twins scream and trip over each other.

Somehow Kagome and Inuyasha managed to get themselves tangled up in the curtains. The more they struggled the tighter their non-sexual bondage got. Their struggles ceased as Sesshomaru began to speak.

"Do you two have no respect whatsoever?" Sesshomaru growled as he pulled out his clothes. "Everyday of my life you wake me up in the rudest way possible, yet run crying to Father if I say one rude thing to you." Sesshomaru grabbed a pair of black socks and threw them at Kagome. "For the last time I'll tell you this: wake me up at this ungodly hour again and I'll throw you all out the window." Sesshomaru walked into his bathroom, shutting the door behind him. As he began his shower, the twins tore their way through the curtains, finally springing free a few minutes later.

Kagome grabbed the pair of socks Sesshomaru had thrown at her and put them on as Inuyasha went into Sesshomaru's bathroom. A few second later Kagome heard the tell-tale sound of Inuyasha flushing the toilet. Sesshomaru growled and Inuyasha yelped. A few seconds later the door opened and Inuyasha was being thrown out the window. Kagome blushed and looked away. Siblings or not she still couldn't deny the fact that her half-brother was a work of art. His long silver hair that was so soft and beautiful, his amber eyes that could draw anyone in, his –

"Get out of my room before I throw you out the window." Sesshomaru snarled, his hand holding the towel wrapped around his waist closed. Kagome blushed, and ran out of the room, tripping over Jaken, Sesshomaru's personal servant, who was bringing new curtains for Sesshomaru's room.

Jaken shrieked as he fell over backwards, entangling himself in the curtains. "Oh why is it always me?" the green imp asked the Gods as he began to roll down the hallway, hoping someone could free him from the evil curtains of doom.

Kagome sat on the ground by Sesshomaru's shiny, new black car. She didn't know what kind it was, but it was stylish and was the talk of the school for weeks. The birds were chirping and the morning fog was still lingering on the ground, reminding Kagome of some cheesy romance novel. She was waiting patiently for Inuyasha and Sesshomaru to get themselves outside. How long could it take for them to get dressed? 'Well their hair is longer than mine and it probably takes longer to dry.' Kagome thought as she sighed.

"You had better not have dirt on your ass or you'll be walking to the lake." Sesshomaru said crossly as he carried a large wooden trunk out the front gate. He looked irritated and seemed to regret what he had just said, so Kagome didn't bother to fight with them. Instead she looked at the trunk.

"What's with the box?" Kagome asked. Sesshomaru dropped it unceremoniously to the ground, sending a crack running up the side. Kagome stepped back as her twin burst from the box, clutching a hundred dollar bill in his clawed hand.

"This asshole threw me in the box!" Inuyasha yelled, pointing at Sesshomaru. Inuyasha angrily stood up and approached his half-brother. Before the two could start to fight, Kagome stepped in between them.

"Knock it off! We're already late because you pansies took so long to brush your girly hair!" Kagome snapped. "Let's get in the car, and then you two can fight to the death later. Sheesh." Kagome stormed off, grabbed the bag of books and threw them in the backseat of the car. She walked around to the other side and sat in the passenger seat. The female hanyou buckled her seatbelt and glared at them, daring them to start fighting.

"She's worse than Mother when she wants to go shopping." Inuyasha shivered as he climbed into the backseat. Sesshomaru didn't say anything; he just got behind the wheel and drove off to the highway, mentally preparing to see their friends at Lake Tamashii.

End Note//: I hope you liked it ^^ If not then oh well ^^ I'm uploading the chapters that I've edited all in one night since I don't have class tomorrow. Whoot.

It just occured to me that some of you could be pissed ^^ Sorry, but I couldn't stand to have my story half edited. It makes me feel icky x.x

Ahem I got rid of some Japanese words, but I kept two: hanyou and tamashii.

Hanyou – half-demon. Is not pluralized.

Tamashii - soul. So the Lake is called "Soul Lake." There's aren't any disembodied souls floating around the lake, it's just what I decided to call it because the name stuck with me xD

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the new, edited version of this chapter Now I must get to work on the second one

Love and peace,

Ashley
