The Scroll

The scroll flew out in front of his face. It had a burning arrow threw it and he instantly knew who it was from.

"InuYasha...are you alright?" Kagome approached him from his left side.

They were in a small clearing, enjoying a dinner Kagome had just made from her own time. All together in their little party they had six friends. Sango the demon slayer. Miroku the lecherous monk. Shippo the young, cunning fox demon. Kirara, Sango's faithful companion, the two tailed cat demon. And last but not least, InuYasha the half demon and Kagome the young, courageous miko.

"Is that from..." Miroku started

"Kikyo" InuYasha finished for the young monk, "She wants me to meet her tonight, by the old tree, where we last were together." He reached for the scroll when suddenly a grin spread across his face .

"InuYasha?" Kagome asked with concern.

"I'm leaving, I'll be back some time later." And holding the scroll tightly in his hand he left, leaving his friends sitting staring at his retreating back.
