A place where memories

Be they good or bad

Dominate the very fabrics of time and space

A place where dreams bring hope to life

Only to have the nightmares

Driven by memories of bloodshed, betrayal, and pain

Mercilessly slaughter the very hope that is essential to his soul

The same nightmares that haunt him

Even in the realm of the concious

Nightmares that are the cause of the dead emotionless look

In his beautiful amber eyes

Nightmares that imprisoned his heart and soul

And shattered them

With no one left to gather the pieces
