Please Someone...

Ch.1 The Betrayal

'Please someone... Please help me. P-Please anyone I don't want to die like this.' The young woman whimpered as the ship she had been riding on slowly sank to the briny deep. She had previously that day been very excited and extremely happy.

Today was to be her first cruise ever she was glad for the distraction from her previous good boyfriend turned cheater. He had said he loved her and that he wanted to be with her forever and always. She had never been so happy in her life.

Her boyfriend of three years, Haruko Kyoko, had just proposed to her. It was the happiest moment of her life, and she had blissfully accepted his offer. She had come to see him a few days later with a surprise lunch date. His lights were off and the door was locked but there was loud music playing. She tried knocking on the door and calling out to him but he didn't answer.

Well that wouldn't deter her. She fished out a key from her purse and pushed it into the lock. She opened the door to see the normal setting of his living room. Nothing more different then usual, a dirty sock here an old pizza box there.

She took off her coat and was about to place it on the coat rack when she saw a bright pink coat. It was most definitely not hers and it didn't look familiar. She sat down her surprise lunch on the living room coffee table and proceeded to look around hoping to turn off the mind numbing music.

She followed the noise to his bedroom and realized it must have been coming from his stereo. As she got closer to the door she heard muffled moaning and groaning. She finally got what was happening. 'Now Kagome you could be wrong just go in there and look.'

With her small pep talk she turned the knob and opened the door. Her worst nightmare there he was with some floozy redhead. She felt ready to cry. She quickly ran away. When she got to her car she couldn't go yet. Her eyes were so teary she couldn't see. She quickly dialed her phone and called her friend Ayumi.

Ring... ring... ring...

"Hello. This is Ayumi can I help you?" She heard sobbing on the other end.

"A-Ayumi... h-he cheated on meee..." Kagome wailed the last part almost unable to control her sobbing.

"Kagome? Kagome! Are you okay where are you?" She asked very worriedly.

"I-I'm in front of h-his apartment building. C-can you come get me I don't think I could dr-drive." She was still sobbing only a bit more calmly. Though her tears were still flowing freely.

"Okay I'll be there in a few minutes. Stay put Kagome." She quickly hung up and raced for her keys. It took her about fifteen minutes to get there thanks to the officer that pulled her over for her speeding. She hoped out of her car and raced to Kagome's car. She opened the door and pulled Kagome into a tight embrace.

"Oh Kagome I'm so sorry you had to go through this." She said soothingly as Kagome cried into her shoulder.

"How could he do this to me? I loved him and I thought he loved me." The sobbing increased with a fervor.

"I don't know Kagome. Come on I'll take you home and I'll send someone to get your car later." She pulled Kagome to the passengers seat and took off. The drive was silent and short.

For the next few weeks she locked herself away and didn't answer to anyone. She hardly ate or slept just cried till the tears ran out. Her crying went into overdrive when Haruko had the nerve to come and ask what was the matter all she said was, "As if you didn't know you cheating BASTARD!" She threw her ring at him and slammed the door in his face.

When she felt well enough o talk all her friends came over. They were all very worried for her and had thought of a solution. They had all chipped in their money and bought her tickets to a luxury cruise liner. It sailed for Paris and back.

"Kagome we have a special surprise for you we felt bad for what happened to you so we decided you need to do something to refresh yourself and get your mind off him. You have cried more than enough for that bastard. So we decided to send you on a cruise." Ayumi told her.

"Who knows maybe you'll meet someone new." Eri joked.

"Yeah go have a good time and for get about you know who." Yuka added.

"Thanks guys you're the best." She hugged them and they started chatting about what she should bring with her. She had left for the docks the very next day. The ship was gorgeous and huge. Many people were boarding and re-thanked her friends for the gift and said farewell to her family.

The interior of her room looked fabulous. She decided from that moment on no more crying for him and put a dazzling smile on her face. Nothing was going to bring her down today. Boy was she wrong. Later into that night during dinner fifteen gunners took over the ship. She and the other passengers were helpless to do anything.

They stole all the Jewelry and expensive possessions of the people and for the important people they took hostage. So they could put a ransom up for the people. Kagome was terrified. They overlooked her since she didn't have anything to steal. She was able to hide away in a restroom but they found her.

They took her to the ballroom and smacked her around till their boss called that it was time to go. They left her after they finished their task of setting the ship ablaze. The shooters and hostages set off on speedboats for their destinations. Kagome coughed and tried to move but the pain was too great.

So here she was without a hope on the broken ship. Boy could things get any worse for her first Haruko now this. She felt like crying over her misfortune. She again tried to move and made it out to the deck. She could go no further. Her broken ribs and bloody body could take no more. She finally succumbed to the peaceful darkness that was unconsciousness with one last thought, 'Please anyone.'
