Chapter One

Kagome's black combat boots pounded on the wet, cold pavement mercilessly. Her black tresses cascading down her shoulders and back; like an onyx cataract. She rarely smiled; tragic vampires like her almost never did. Her thoughts went to her Master, and her savior. Naraku had been so cruel when he drained her of her Life's blood and stole her virginity from her still warm corpse. Kuronue found her; beaten, bloody, and half-dead from starvation. He was a bat youkai, but he was the next best thing. She wouldn't have cared even if he was a human.

Kuronue had been so heart set on getting his pendant back. Kagome warned him; she told him not to go after it. He waved her off, telling her that the Destroyer of Ningens could never catch him. Tears filled her eyes as she thought of his ultimate sacrifice. His death was her fault...if she hadn't been so stupid...

Her stomach growled. There were no humans left on Earth; Naraku made sure of that. Maybe she could find a hanyou? Hanyous were rare and their blood was considered a delicacy only the Destroyer could afford. Then; a flash of silver, golden eyes. Her heart pounded in her chest. Would she find Kuronue's lost comrade, Youko? No; it was a...speak of the devil it was a hanyou! Kagome sashayed her hips; attracting the hanyou's attention.

She was clad in a black, lacy camisole with black cargo pants. Nothing fancy, just good enough to look tough enough not to get jumped by some pathetic demon. She approached the hanyou, catching his eye with her grey-blue eyes. "Hello, my name is Kagome. What is yours?" Kagome said, smoothly. She gave him her real name; knowing that he would be dead within the hour.

"Taisho, I'm Inuyasha Taisho." He said holding his hand out to shake it. She tried not to recoil at his touch. Filthy hanyou... how dare he try to touch her person? He was the straw that broke the camels back; screw Miss Innocent; she was going to be the Black Widow. She shook his hand, squeezing it with a little of her strength. He seemed impressed... and aroused. By the Gods, how could hanyous stand themselves? They don't even know when their killer is shaking their hand; their too focused on her ass.

She pulled him into a club. She saw Bankotsu and Jakotsu, and her two adoptive sons (Hakudoushi and Shippo) but she jerked her head towards Inuyasha. She would save them a little of his heart veins.

"You wanna dance?" Inuyasha asked; his golden eyes traveling over her body.

"I thought you'd never ask, Inuyasha." He led her to the center of the dance floor. The strobe lights and heavy music may have bothered HIS eyes and ears, but hers were so more advanced than his. She grounded against him, her hands leaving trials of fire on his skin. Bankotsu took her children away; he didn't want them to know how to kill a hanyou the wrong way yet. Kagome was going to bite too hard again.

His neck... Sweat rolled off it as they continued their heated unfulfilled passion; his for a good fuck and hers for a good meal. She licked her red lips. Damnit, it was too unbearable, she leaned forward and sank her fangs into the crook of his neck. Too late did Inuyasha realize what she was...too late to realize who she was. Greedily, she supped his hot blood, letting it run all over them in a crimson rivulet.

That satisfying crunch when she bit into his bone. The splash of blood. It all made her want to bite him again. As Inuyasha fell, he stared in horror as Hakudoushi walked over to him and licked his lips. "Who...are you...?" Inuyasha asked, blood dripping from his mouth.

"My Master taught me not to make conversation with my food." She nodded to Hakudoushi and watched with pride as he bit Inuyasha's neck. He, too, supped the red fluid and Inuyasha closed his eyes and breathed his last.

No moment of silence.

No burial.

No prayers.

Kagome just picked her adoptive son up and went upstairs so Bankotsu could lecture her again about proper biting so she could sleep before the sun rose. She never knew how much pain and joy killing Inuyasha would bring her.
