Ben & Jerry

I hope you people like this story since its my first and all....yeah....I don't own some of the songs on this. I'll tell you whether or not I own which songs, and it'll be PRETTY obvious as well

"Guys!" Kagome cried, trying to convince her friends to leave he alone. They took no heed of her cries as the dragged her along with them.

"Shutup, Kagome," Kikyo said.

"You're coming with us whether you like it or not," Sango growled.

"Sango! Kikyo!" Kagome whined. She stopped as they pushed her through a door.

In front of her were over 50 people dancing on the dance floor. The people who weren't dancing were off to the side drinking, making out, or talking.

Sango and Kikyo had dragged her to a club.

It wasn't that bad of a club either. Their were two floors. The main floor had a dance floor in the center and was surrounded by small tables for people to rest when they got tired. Strobe lights lined some of the walls, blinking incessantly.

A large staircase lined the wall to the right of the door, leading to the second floor. The second floor gave a sort of balcony feel as you looked over the railings down to the dancing people. There was a bar and many small tables.

"Guys," Kagome said, as they began dragging her through the crowd, "I'm not supposed to be here."

"And why is that?" Sango asked, although not really paying attention.

"I'm supposed to be at home moping, crying, and wrapped up in a quilt surrounded by tissues and Ben & Jerry ice cream tubs while watching a sappy soap opera. NOT going out clubbing."

"That's what Kouga wants you to do so he can take pride in hurting you and making you unhappy," KIkyo replied, "He did it so he can come back for a good fuck and make you happy again. It's all about his pride."

"But I won't go back."

"Yes, you will, Kagome. We know you," Kikyo said, "You give into apologies easily."

Kagome growled and glared at the two. She snatched her hands away from them, surprising them.

"Well, if you know me so well, you'd know I don't like being forced into things. Thanks for such little confidence girls."

She glared at them again before pushing her way through the crowd and up to the bar.

"Maybe we should go talk to her," Sango said, staring at where he best friend just was with sad eyes.

"We'll wait for her to cool down a bit," Kikyo replied.

"I can't believe those two," She growled under her breath.

Blowing her bangs up, she sat down at the bar and rested her head against her arms.

"Excuse me, miss," A voice said. Kagome lifted her head up to see who was talking to her.

In front of her was a woman with red eyes and black hair pulled into a bun. From her attire, Kagome could tell she worked there.

"My name's Kagura," The woman said, "What would you like to drink, miss?"

"I'll have a dry martini, please."

The woman nodded and began to walk away, but Kagome stopped her.

"My name's Kagome, by the way."

"Alright, Kagome, I'll be right back with your drink."

Kagura smiled, before turning to take another order from the silver-haired man next to her. He wore black pants and a dark blue shirt underneath a black, leather jacket.

'He looks good,' She thought, 'What am I thinking?! I just broke up with Kouga. I can't be looking for a new guy now.'

'Why not?'

'Who the hell are you?!'

'I'm your inner you who know what's best for you. What's the matter with looking at other guys?'

'I just broke up with Kouga!'

'Sooooo? Kouga's probably with Ayame now, anyway. You have every right to be looking at other men!'

'But-'

'You know I'm right.'

*sigh*

Sesshoumaru sighed as he sat down at the bar. He lifted a hand to brush a strand of hair out of his face.

'I can't believe I let him convince me into coming here. Baka Inuyasha. Baka Miroku.'

"Excuse me, miss," A voice said. Sesshoumaru glanced over, curiosity overtaking him.

Off to the side, was a woman with red eyes and black hair pulled into a bun. From her attire, he could tell she worked there.

The woman she was talking to was wearing dark blue jeans and a dark green halter top. Her black hair was pulled back into a low ponytail, allowing him to see her brown eyes.

"My name's Kagura," The woman said, "What would you like to drink, miss?"

"I'll have a dry martini, please."

The woman nodded and began to walk away, but the other girl stopped her.

"My name's Kagome, by the way."

"Alright, Kagome, I'll be right back with your drink."

'Kagome, hm?'

"What would you like to drink, sir?" The waitress, Kagura, had come over to him to take his order.

"I'll take a Bourbon," He replied.

"I'll be right back with your drink," Kagura said, smiling. She walked off to get the orders for both him and Kagome.

"Bad-day?" Kagome asked. Sesshoumaru looked slightly surprised before composing himself and replying.

"Actually, it was of an acceptable state before my younger half-brother and his friend decided to drag me here to take my mind off my ex."

"Sounds familiar," Kagome muttered under her breath, but he still heard her.

'So, she was hurt by her lover as well.'

"What was his name?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"Huh?" Kagome replied, confused.

Sesshoumaru squalled the urge to roll his eyes at her, "The one who hurt you."

"His name was Kouga. I caught him cheating on me with his ex, Ayame."

"I see."

"What about you?"

"It is of no importance."

"Well, I thought we were sharing our problems."

"I asked you a question, you chose to answer. You asked me a question, I chose not to answer, Its simple."

Kagome growled in frustration. This guy was getting on her bad side already. All she asked was who was his ex. Gosh, at least she had the decency to answer him when he asked.

"Well, will you at least tell me your name?" Kagome asked.

"Sesshoumaru," He replied, "Sesshoumaru Taisho."

Kagome smiled, "My name's Kagome Higurahi. It's a pleasure to meet you, Sesshoumaru."
