Chapter One

She sat there watching what pieces of the jewel her Inu Yasha and her friends had retrieved. She had been going in and out of the Feudal Era for two years, She was older had more color in her skin and her hair was longer and had a blue shine to it. Still Inu Yasha did not notice her all she was to him was a Shard detector she was not even a friend to him. He only loved Kikyou. Thoughts of Inu Yasha raced through her mind. Why did she love him, he only hurt her in the pass. Why did he love Kikyou?

Right then she saw Kikyou's Soul Stealers her hair stood on end. Was she here to take back the rest of the soul? Why even if she took it back her heart would never beat again her skin would remain cold and her eyes lifeless. She felt part of her soul coming closer. She waited a few moments. Had Kikyou stopped? WHY?

She hated Kikyou more then anything but still she felt they were connected not only by the soul and looks but by Inu Yasha. She had feelings for Inu Yasha. She walked subconsciously toward the forest very slowly she entered the mouth where two trees opened a path. One step at a time she came closer to two entwined figures standing there. It was Inu Yasha and Kikyou. Kikyou grabbed Inu Yasha placing her lips on his. It was disgusting he was kissing dirt. Something Dead! She watched as Inu Yasha forced his tongue into Kikyou mouth groping her everywhere. She fell to the ground grabbing and banging at the dirt violently. She wouldn't cry she just wouldn't hell she couldn't even frigging move. Tears unwilling came out, cries pain hidden under sobs.

Inu Yasha turned around he could hear crying but he couldn't see anyone. Holy crap it was Kagome. Damn it she saw.

She then got up shakily. Rising she saw Inu Yasha he was angry. Why the hell was he angry? Fuck if anyone should be hurt, angry, sad, numb or, broken it should be her but didn't feel anything she just walked away. She knew she would feel those emotions later she would take advantage of this moment.

Bastard! She screamed in the middle of the clearing. She leaned against to the God tree. Deciding where to leave to her time or going back to camp and for getting everything

Back in the woods Inu Yasha was furious. She was going to go back to her time. Bitch! She was leaving with those shards. It was the only thing that could grant his wish.

"What is wrong Inu Yasha" grinned Kikyou. The spell that Naraku had given her was working she would have Inu Yasha kill that whore get her soul back kill Inu Yasha take the shards he killed for and give Naraku the shard "Is it that Kagome was spying on us or that see going to take the shards you work so hard to obtain to her time."

Inu yasha frowned "Yes, it is". His frown turned into grin. "And she will pay for it with her life."

Sesshoumaru stood there watching the girl-woman screaming. Her aura was changing colors. But no emotions showed on her face. He caught the smell his hanyou brother in the air. He was coming. But the smell was somehow different he changed. It had been that way while he was battling last when he was full youkia.

Kagome knew someone was watching her she could sense it. A youkia. A strong youkia. Its aura was that of Just then Inu Yasha came into the clearing.

"Where are you going wench." He growled sending shivers down Kagome's back "I'm going home." She whispered, when she looked up his she gasped he was full youkia. His eyes were blood red.

Inu Yasha came closer at lightening quick speed grabbing her neck. His claws dug into her skin causing her to yelp in pain struggling to get loose from his grip.

Sesshoumaru watched. Didn't his brother care for this human miko?

"Inu Yasha. Why?" She coughed out through tears. "If you die Kikyou gets her soul back she will be alive I won't need you anymore." He yelled back.

Sesshoumaru watched he knew that she could use her miko powers to throw him back. But she didn't she took the pain, she wouldn't hurt him, she loved him, weak humans and there emotions.

Kagome took her gaze off Inu Yasha and stared at the sky

"I love you." She whispered loud enough for Inu Yasha to hear her. Sesshoumaru heard her whisper. Why does she still love him he growl at the thought.

Kagome searched for the source of the growl. Sesshoumaru. She smiled weakly at him. He stared back startled by her smile getting lost in her eyes. His emotionless masks disappeared and a look of disappointment and pity took over and then anger.

She kept smiling and whispered. "Please leave Please I'm Sorry". He was angered at her words. Why does she want me gone he thought.

"You're going to be sorry bitch!" He yelled thinking her words were for him. He threw her to the ground kicking her with his clawed feet scratching her. He grabbed her shoulder clawing at her shirt.

"Please stop Inu Yasha please stop!" She screamed pushing him back. "No!" he screamed. "I'm going to getting want I want but I'm Going to take pleasure in it and with you gone Kikyou will never know about this little one night stand"

Sesshoumaru growled. "My Family will not be further disgraced by your disgusting actions with humans Hanyou!!!!!!! He leapt the tree pushing Inu Yasha down off her. "YOU WILL NOT FORCE YOURSELF UPON THIS CHILD!!!!! He said grabbing the girl Sesshoumaru covered her bear skin with his tail. Looking down at her he saw a flash of relief that was quickly cover by sadness again.

"Thank you" she whispered quietly.

Inu Yasha got up panicking "Where I am I" seeing Sesshoumaru holding Kagome barely wearing anything. "What are you doing you bastard let her go, get off her" he screamed at Sesshoumaru. Looking at Kagome's clothes and her scratches remembering what had happened moments ago. "Kagome I'm sorry I really am please Forgive me."

Inu Yasha growled when Sesshoumaru told him to stay back. "You bastard you cant tell me not to go near her." Inu Yasha charged him but was thrown back by a forceful power. Kagome's eyes were pure sky blue "NO, Inu Yasha you will not come near me again ever and I hope to not have this discussion again". "If we do it means I will be forced to kill you" she yelled coughing up blood while doing so. Her wounds were worst then she had thought she winced in pain as the prayer beads around Inu Yasha's neck fell to the ground breaking their connection. Her eyes back to normal "I'm Sorry Inu Yasha". Sesshoumaru turned his face to her in disgust "You have nothing to be sorry about human" he said he voice stern but comforting.

"Inu Yasha the human will stay with me while her wounds heal I judge because of her wounds and words you will stay away from your during the healing process."

Sesshoumaru flew up gliding on the winds currents watching Inu Yasha run as fast as he could after them, then he heard the girl Kagome mutter something "I love you Inu Yasha". Sesshoumaru growled at the sound of his brother name. Kagome smiled and leaned against him loving the warmth of his tail grabbing it massaging it slowly sending pleasurable shivers through his spine.

"We are almost their ningen awake up now". He said as pushed her from almost violently.

"Not now Miroku I don't want to leave me alone you perverted hoshi and if you touch my ass I will get Sango to beat you silly" he growled at the name of another man though he didn't know why.

"Hello Sesshoumaru good Morning" she said happily before remembering what had happened that night. "We are here". She said as they came closer to the ground. "Yes we are here wench." "I do have a name Sesshoumaru its Kagome." She spoke weakly due tire and her wounds.

He dumped her on the ground as she whimpered in pain. He felt almost guilty lifting up Tensiaga and slashing through her chest. It was almost as he forgot that Tensiaga was the healing sword but he quickly regained his thoughts. She laid there silent all the physical pain was gone but the emotional pain was still there. "I'm Sorry Kagome I didn't mean to surprises you like that" She smiled he apologized to me a human.

Before he could stop himself it slipped out' "That's a beautiful name it suits you very well you know physically and emotionally". Oh Kami did I Say that aloud. She blushed struggling with words "Thank You". Did he just say that I was beautiful and my name was too?

"So this is where you live" she asked as she marveled at the sight the large structure. It was only then she noticed Sesshoumaru was staring at her but then lookdown at her outfit she was barely dressed. She blushed covering herself partially. The other part of was covered by Sesshoumaru's tail. She blushed even brighter because of his action.

Stupid human modesty he thought such a waste of feelings and emotions.

Gods she loved the feeling of his tail how could something that made her feel wonderful attached to something that hated her so much.

Why did I bring her to my castle? He couldn't fight this nagging feeling in inside of him. Just slit her throat now just do it.

Kagome gasped as he tightened his tail around her stomach and chest. He stare wonder what had just happened. They had been standing there silently for minutes until Jaken appeared overjoyed by the appearance of his master but he scowled at Kagome.

"Sesshoumaru sama you've come back to your loyal servant, did you retrieve Tetsiaga? "Why is that ningen here master?" Sesshoumaru did not answer his servant's question.

"Wench follow me, I will show you to your living quarters!" He barked. "Yes Sesshoumaru sama" she whispered quietly

'How quickly his mood changes' she thought as they walked through the hallway she could sense many youkia roaming the castle but, she couldn't see any of them. She stare went back to Sesshoumaru's back her sight linger to his rear for a moment but soon went to the floor after notice Jaken was eyeing her in disgust.

'Oh Kami' I stared at his ass. Why did I just do that? Oh but it was a nice no uh oh didn't do that.
