OH WOW! it's been forever since i've been able to locate this again. I know that sounds odd... heheh. But this was actually the VERY first story I ever read on A-single-spark and I fell in love with it from th ebeginning. unfortunately I was "innocent" the favortie story and author lists... But I always looked for the summary that stuck in my mind, and when I found your story "Divine Concubine" I checked your stories and i was amazed to find this! i instantly picked up from whereI left off and was immediately drawn into the plot again. I really adore this story, it's perhaps my very favotire I've ever read, right up next to "House of the Moon".

I can never get enough of reading this, and I admit being dissapointed in seeing it end and not knowing what Kagome did in order to earn those amused stares! PLEASE update this soon! I really adore this story and would really enjoy continuing to read this!

It was great to catch up again. The story is really getting juicy now. Sesshomaru showing up and actually hanging out with Kagome was a major advance in their relationship. I think that the others noticed it as well, otherwise Sango wouldn't have made the coment that she did. Sounds like Inuyasha isn't taking it too well though. hehe. It will be interesting to hear your take on the upcoming abduction by the poison master, Mukotsu. I loved when Sess saved Kagome and it has always intrigued me that he denied it as anything but self-interest. I think that you will come up with some interesting thoughts on that episode by both Kagome and Sesshomaru. Great job, as always!

You made my day with this update. I love this story. I read it for the second time last week and caught some editing changes or things I missed the first time. Well this was certainly a long and lovely chapter. I love the way Sesshomaru manages to keep weaving his immediate and pressing matters together with a chance to see Kagome. So romantic.

Poor Inuyasha, he tries to protect but it seems like Kagome has to protect everybody from him more than she is protected. Jaken will never be the same, he is forever tortured and abused. Thats why we love him.

I most especially love the way you have wound your story around the anime. It's like watching it all over again but with a whole different perspective. A more dimensional feel. We understand the characters more and feel more of what motivates them. It is just interwoven so cleverly, I am impressed and look forward to every chapter.

THis is why I understand your uncontrollable passion to write for other stories sometimes, It probably gives you a chance to freshen your ideas for this story. But if you ever let this happen again I promise you will be hunted down and punished.

I know there's a lot of OOCness here but it's just so hilarious that no one would have it any other way.

Those diseases were quite funny BTW. If anyone's curious, there is a disease called Beri beri (Vit. C deficiency), and otite, which in english is Otitis. It's an ear infection basically affecting the outer, middle or inner ear. I dunno about antitypum though. maybe Kagome's grampa meant typhus?

Anyway, good job on this fic. I was actually embarrassed for Kagome while reading her diary entries. LOL. And Sesshoumaru is just too cute!!!

this story is very very very fustrating...i love it soo much!! but the way its written it seems that for every 2 updates only one thing happens..i still cannot stop reading it tho!!! i like how now your making the way kagome remembers conversations differ from what sesshoumaru remembers.
i must say i dont like how childish kagome acts when she writes in her diary, she seems almost dumb blonde..yet when sesshoumaru talks about her she can carry out an intelligent conversation without getting all giggly and dumb. it seems to me like you have almost created two different people (diary-kagome, and sesshou-version-kagome)
i still enjoy this story and i cannot wait till sesshoumaru begins his courting (i love that word)

The plot is so original and i really feel that Sesshomaru and Kagome aren't acting out of character at all. In fact, i would believe that this could actually happen in the anime. I started reading The Diary like, 4 ish days ago; and love it~

Very cute how Sesshomaru becomes like an teenage boy with a secret crush but not to secret. And Kagome's dreams of him, teh hot. I love the scene in the meadow, and how he asked to court her! Perfect choicing of words.

I can;t wait for your next chapter! Oh, and if you ever need a beta, or help with a scene due to writers block, I wouldn't mind helping~

I love your story. Truely! Its amazes me how well it fits in with the series. It's good to have a writer that didn't just take over the series and seemingly switch the events to fit their story. You obviously know the series and did very good in writing a story that could have actually happened within the show! All I have to say is GREAT JOB AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! I was so pleased to see you had posted a revision, not because it needed revising, but because it indicated you were going to continue with this story. I like the way you write. You could end this one where it is, I suppose. Sort of like it was the end of one story and, (maybe), the beginning of another.

English may be your second language, but you have better grammar and spelling than most of the people that write fanfics. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

Woohoo! We got some lip action going on here. This story is really starting to move now (not counting dreams - those technically aren't real).

I like how you switch from Kagome's writing in the diary to Sesshomaru's point of view. It's different and works for your story.

The beginning was a nice break from the 'Kagome and Sesshomaru' moments. We had a chance to see everyone else, which also helps give your story a broader scope and feel real. You didn't ignore the others and it was a great lead into Kagome's anger at Inuyasha. And of course, her first real 'alone' moment with Sesshomaru. They are just too cute - really two opposite people but trying to understand the other. It was fun watching them communicate and breaking through the barriers. Though I loved how Kirara came to get Kagome and she didn't jump into attack mode. I thought that was interesting - demons seem to be more in tune than humans. It also added Kirara as a secondary character than just someone in the background.

No, I haven't forgotten about you! Life has left little time for fanfiction. Congrats on the award! You must feel so pleased.

What I liked about this chapter was how you handled the forgiveness. You didn't have Kagome start crying or trying to prove her love like so many other stories. Instead, you tied it in with the actual storyline. I was actually pleased with your explanation of why Sesshomaru was so easily caught off guard by Naraku. Personally, there has to be some reason why he was captured. Oh, and I thought it was hysterical that Sesshomaru was eavesdropping!

Kagome was great - so caught up in what's happening and her feelings are natural and so is her response. You can see how she cares, especially for Sesshomaru, but is unsure of how to proceed.

This was an awesome chapter! I'm so glad you're finally moving things along in the story. It was so cute when Sesshoumaru asked Kagome if he could court her...I practically squealed! I'm really excited to read the next chapter which I'm expecting if it's like the rest of the story should be Sesshoumaru's recounting of what just happened. I'm just soooo excited...I practically can't wait!!

I'm really glad that you've posted another update so fast - I would have died from not-knowing-what's-gonna-happen-next!
I think you have a great writing style: the diary-entries make me able to see how exited Kagome is and I think everybody can recognize the feelings you describe (even if it's not a demonlord who is the reason behind them...)
I also think that you described Sesshoumarus character very well. He didn't go from "kill Kagome" to "love Kagome" over night and he actually had a... (for lack of better word) reason to... to want to mate her.

I still think you need to cover the events from both POVs, because I didn't really understand some things: did Kagome give him 'permission' to court her, did he say that he loves her? And just what did Kags tell him while she apologized?
Well, it's probably going to take some more conversations until she falls in love with him (pleeease, don't make them fall in love with each other without them actually having some real conversations; some ff's make it seem as if they fall in love, marry/mate, get children/pups/hanyous and die happy without getting to know each other)

Hopefully you can understand the babbling of a happy reviewer (whose first language is NOT English) and update soon
