Nice one-shot it was really good, a little sad but not downright depressing like I expected, but as I said before it was good not everything can be happy ever after

And I completely sympathize on the ratings part, having hat. They really need to take the ratings thing down from this board because some rate a story low just to be silly about it. They don't like certain characters written in a certain way but eh? Screw them...do your thing!

Hey , i really liked the story. It is not a happy story , but u can't get a story with a happy ending all the time.. But just b-cuz the story isn't happy , that dosen't mean the story isn't good.... I really love this fanfic! Great job! I know you only intended it to be a one-shot but i think you should sooooooooo continue this!

Errr I didnt notice anything super big about spelling or grammar.
I actually liked the story. Thought the flow of it was alittle different and actually nice. It works for how the story is.
Seriously .. just ignore idiots who cant appreciate good writing. I hate that they always want a damn happy ever after. That just doesnt fit some stories, this one included.

That was a really interesting story. I like the plot and the character development. It will be interesting to see how Sessys falls in love with her when he seems so cruel and unable to love. I can't wait for an update.

it's sad - but things like that happen in that time, women get chosen to be mates and usually by force - not for love.
too bad sesshoumaru (as we know here) couldn't have been a bit more gently to her instead of so rough, but i guess that's demon thing...

This fic is really well written, and Sesshoumaru's cruelty so completely unnerving! When you revealed the father's letter I figured he was refering to the fact that his son must learn to love. Was proved wrong, though. A possession? A means to an end? *shudders* But, like you've mentioned, life isn't a fairy tale to most, and this 'is' very realistic of days of old, and even today! Kagome's determination to do her duty by her husband is also so true of many women who find themselves in a position like hers...:(

'Twas a really good, realistic one shot. I must add that I like the way you set the scene in the beginning as well. It sort of carried the tone through the rest of the story.
